I just stopped by at the drive-thru at this location around 8:00 this evening and after waiting about 5 minutes, someone finally got on the speaker and told me no orders were being taken at this time. I thought maybe there was a malfunction with the computer or maybe there was no staff for the drive-thru so I parked and went inside. Again, I was told there was no orders being taken. When I asked why, she again repeated that there were no orders being taken at this time. I thought it was strange, but I accepted it without saying a word and turned around to leave. As I was leaving, I could hear the staff making fun of my French accent (English is my first language, but I try to practice my French whenever I can). Obviously NO respect for the customers here. Seems poorly managed and poorly supervised. You're much better off at la Porte du Nord off the highway 15 or drive another 20 minutes to Ste-Agathe. Avoid the St- Sauveur location. I cannot recommend this particular Mc Donald's at all. It's not up to the usual...
Read moreThis particular McDonald's provided me with a delicious egg McMuffin and sausage McMuffin with egg sandwich. In my 40+ years of eating McDonald's, I have never had hash browns that were so overcooked. They were dark brown and very crispy, which led me to believe that they were either re-cooked or left in the fryer waaaay too long. I like crispy, but these tasted really awful, so I couldn't eat them. By the time I had realized they weren't good, I was well on my way back to Ottawa. I just can't imagine how the employee would grab these, slip them into their paper sleeve and into my food bag at the drive thru without thinking that they looked bad, and likely would not be edible.
Will I ever eat McDonald's again? Yes, but I will check that the hash browns are golden and not dark brown before...
Read moreI know quality can differ from one location to another. But this McDonald’s must be a new low point.
I asked them for less sauce in my sandwich and more pickles…nope, the same amount of sauce, two pickles on one side of the sandwich. Okay, errors can happen fine… but the whole assembly was mediocre at best.
Poutine barely had any sauce or cheese, and the fries were extremely dry.
Additionally, management should look at what employees do while working. When we ate at the location, we saw an employee in the kitchen take out her phone and didn’t even realize that a line of customers had started to form. A client had to bother the employee to get served. I wouldn’t call that very sanitary either.
Oh, and don’t expect to go to the bathroom since there isn’t any “power” in the bathrooms, as per...
