This place is a definite pass. Service was ok, server was unwelcoming but efficient. Had the Table d’Hote soup was wonton and tasted like it was out of a can. Spring rolls were very crispy, not burnt but well done. My main course was very disappointing. It was a medley of shrimp and “crab” with mixed vegetables in a dried noodle nest. First off the “crab” was imitation crab. If a menu advertises crab in a dish and I am expected to pay for crab then it should be crab! If its not real crab that should have been noted on the menu. If its not real crab I probably would not have ordered the dish. The sauce was basically a broth (vegetable ?) and not a sauce at all. Very bland no spice no flavor. Nothing at all like Thai food. Had a very bad experience. The server is very rude . When I went to the counter to pay he immediately said,must give tip. I usually give tip 10 to 15 percent but since the service is not good i chose to give 8% instead if 10% when he saw it he started talking and demanded to give more tip and asked me where i am from and telling that in Canada Tip is a must so we should know. I told him that I have been in Canada more than 10 years travelled to almost all provinces but it is my first time that the server deliberately demanded a tip. If the service is good why not but with a poor service and very rude and demanding attitude why would I. Ok so $50.00 wish I had taken pictures to show you what you get. This was a take out order. $8.00 for less then a pint of soup should of had shrimp in it the broth was oily. I only found 3 tinny pieces so maybe one whole shrimp. Bowl of wonton get what you pay for broth and 3 wontons. 1 order of General TOS chicken half a pint of fried chicken pieces some were fatty and hard to chew, sauce on the side for $15.00 add 2 spring rolls and the total was almost $50.00.
