Poké Poki-Ste-Catherine — Restaurant in Sainte-Catherine

I really like the idea of serving bubble teas along with their sushi or pokebowls combos. I usually have to order from two different places and it ends up costing quite a lot. The sushis were of decent quality. The ingredients are fine and the rice is also decent. Their soya has a great balance of sweetness and saltiness which is even better. Their sushis however have an abundance of avocado. It's amazing for people who enjoy avocados but if you don't like it, then good luck. I feel like their combs are also very limited in options and I wish there were more fishes served in the combos. The pokebowl was also quite decent, with a great amount of toppings. But it was a bit dry since it wasn't served with any type of sauces. Once again, the lack of personalizing makes the whole meal less enjoyable. Finally, their bubble teas had great flavours. A decent sweetness to it and a possibility to customize the ice and sugar level. The tapioca were somewhat too chewy however making the drink not as great. I also wish the combos would allow you to pick another drink other than their original...

Food is fine, but it's frustrating that they don't give the bubble tea straws in the bag when you order through door dash.

I called to give this feedback and they tried to tell me that I need to request the straw in the notes. Bubble tea cups come completely sealed with plastic that's meant to be pierced with the special bubble tea straw. The straw is a part of the bubble tea experience, it's not a special request.

Having to eat the tapioca with a spoon (which in itself is hard to do because the cups are very tall, so I have to practically dip my fingers into my bubble tea to get my spoon to the bottom to scoop the tapioca) because I don't have the special straw takes away from the experience I'm after when I order a bubble tea.

I ordered several times from this place and I never had a problem. Their sushi and poki bowl combos are worth the price and the service is fast! I would gladly come here any day if I could! The food taste better than most place in Montreal for its price. Of course, I am not expecting amazing food that are like top notch as this is not some high quality sushi restaurant either for the sushis, but it is definitely better than most places selling sushi nowadays. The poki bowls are definitely much better here than other places I've been to as well as they are quite filling compared to most places that purposely do not put in much.
