The Worst Service We've Had in a Long Time.
We’ve had bad service before, but this was something else. The waitress seriously needs to rethink her attitude. When a customer informs you about a medical condition and asks for details about a dish, the correct response is not to show up at the table and sarcastically ask, “So, are you sick yet?” That has to be the most ignorant, unprofessional, and downright offensive thing we’ve ever heard from a server. A stunning display of zero empathy and absolute indifference.
The food? Completely forgettable. The French toast was ruined by being cooked on a greased griddle instead of in butter, leaving it with an unpleasant taste and texture. Ordered cheddar instead of Swiss cheese? Got Swiss anyway. And when we pointed it out, the waitress actually tried to argue that it was cheddar—because, apparently, we’re too stupid to tell the difference between two completely distinct cheeses.
And let’s talk about their so-called "pulled pork à l’ancienne." What a joke. It was just basic ground ham, nothing more.
To top it all off, they refused to take back a barely touched plate from the bill, despite it being clear that it was inedible.
We still left a tip—just enough to cover the absolute minimum cost of service—because we’re not animals. But we are never, ever...
Read moreHighly disappointed in this place and in Camille the waitress. This location is 45 min away from where I live but was excited in trying somewhere new. I faced construction and detours. I waited over 35 mins no food so I decided to leave because the restaurant was more than half empty but busy making take out orders I saw them filling brown paper bags. The waitress Camille was extremely rude, no smile and so dry. I had a 18 month old baby who was waiting patiently for anything to eat and when I asked for confiture she gave me one peanut butter pack after 10 minutes she said you never told me you want it now. I mentioned the delay and that I’m 9 month pregnant hungry and tired she could have offered me bread or anything since she knows food will take long as she admitted to my face when I’m leaving that sorry yes food needs more time. I respect the employees and it’s ok to be long but if waitress is aware of the delay she needs to mention it especially when she sees a pregnant lady with a child who gets very tired of sitting not even colouring to offer or the least minimal the peanut butter and jam basket. The waitress we had didn't come check on us and ignored us until it was time to pay the bill. I usually tip about 20% or more, but I won't tip a lot for lack of service, so she ended up with 9%, which I believe was still fair!
