I held my baby shower this past weekend at the Ste Therese location. The space was great, I generally enjoyed my baby shower there but customer service and communication within the team could have been better.

When I reserved for 30+ plus people weeks in advance, I was promised to be given the lunch menu for my guests on the day to keep within a certain budget of mine since my partner and I were paying for everyone. I was told on the day of my shower that they weren't allowed due to X reason despite me explaining that I was told it would be no problem. Eventually the menus were switched. Fine.

When I received my plate, there was a ladybug in my salad so I had my plate sent back, having eaten maybe a quarter of my plate, assuming I was to get another plate. Never did and was never asked, I had lost my appetite anyhow and had to continue tending to my guests. Turns out I was still charged for my plate.

My guests gave me great feedback on the food which I am happy about but as the one hosting my own event with my partner, I wish I enjoyed myself a bit more. I ate there once for a family gathering, was not impressed with the food at all, lacks quality and taste, however I must say the Caesar salad was good....unfortunately i'm going back tomorrow for another gathering, my preference is Au Vieux Duluth just up the street.....guess i will not be ordering too much, I'll fill up at home first, going to be with the family ! OK went back and it was a bit better...the soup was just warm, I did not return it because there were large groups for Christmas parties..... the place was cold, they said their heating system was broken, we had to keep on our heavy winter coats...... I had something new on the lunch menu Hamburger steak, don’t know what kind of meat it was, the salad and fries were good along with the banana cake. I still would avoid going there....quality...

We have been to this location multiple times and this time was not up to par. Restaurant was quite busy, people waiting to be seated, we have seen busier. Once we were seated it took a good 20 min to see our waiter for the first time. The waiter was rude, did not say hello just pushed us to order quickly and imposing us how we wanted our meat cooked, rush off to never been seen again at our table. Many tables that were seated after us were served and us nothing not even a sorry the food is coming. After a full hour of waiting we just got up and left without even seeing any staff to voice our complaints. Our total waiting time was...
