Avoid, quality has never been up to A&W Standard.

For the past 25 years I have specifically only purchased the same meal over many locations across 3 provinces. In doing so I have learned an overall standard that A&W delivers and aims to achive. This location wins worst quality by a landslide. Every couple of months I give them another chance and everytime I am disappointed in consistency, flavor, and direction.

The burgers are old, flavorless, wet in a slimy way. They don't add any seasoning to their food, even when asked to add extra. Fries and onion rings are always old, cold, and have sat in the basket for what seems like over 2 hours. Nothing tastes even close to a mid range A&W. I don't know how they wash your food off with a garden hose before they serve it to you, but they mastered that.

It is unfortunate. Never have I received consistency in poor quality over this length of period. Talking to other residents in the community, most word-of-mouth reviews were similar with quality and dissatisfaction. I would not recommend this A&W Location to anyone. Especially people that have never tried A&W and are looking for the company's iconic taste.

I understand that this location is a hot spot in the morning for breakfast and I cannot review them on that. My review is just for their lunch / dinner...

$7.98 for a burger? You might get away with that in a major urban centre, but only if the burger was truly exceptional.

A&W is as far removed from gourmet as Pluto is from the Sun, and the tired and sanguine ‘thing’ surrounded by a bun, and dripping in so much grease that the paper bag it was placed into was soon translucent, only bore a passing resemblance to food.

Adding insult to injury, the level of service-in an otherwise empty restaurant-was as uninspired and as greasy as most of the items on the menu.

The fries were undercooked, and obviously coloured to resemble something that had been cooked properly.

Absolutely scandalous, and if I ever need a quick burger ever again, I surely know...

driving through salmon arm and stopped for my son who is celiac. we have made the same order so many times at so many a&w in Victoria. and NOBODY gets it like the young man who served us last wk did. I was in awe because most folks really struggle when we say NO BUN. it's not complicated but you wld be surprised at how 90%of folks don't get it. u can see the confusion on their face. and the fact that this young man got it like it was no big deal and even charged us for just meat and not a whole burger, since my son only eats the beef and chs.was enough to leave us both raving for days!! so thank you to the nice man at this location who handled our order with ease. you truly...
