Ordered 3 large pizza's at 4:00PM for 6PM delivery for a party. 6:30 still no pizza. When I called to ask what is happening got a lame excuse that they were really backed up. I said "2 hours ago?" . Got equally lame response that there were lots of orders before mine and that they were short a driver. Terrible service, pizza is always sub- standard and pretty pricey too. Management of this establishment does not care at all about customer service and continues to thrive only by the lack of competition. There was no effort on the part of the server to remedy the situation other than to agree with me that it was very poor service. I almost feel bad for the staff as I am sure they have no power or proper training to handle situations like and managers are never to be seen. This is not my first poor service experience with these guys. 7:00PM and still waiting....
Pizza just arrived. More lame excuses from driver. It's the car, I've gone in the ditch a few times, the weather, "I know, I know , I know" . Management better take note. These employees have no tools to cope and have very poor service skills. For a company that owns a large majority of the food establishments on this Island they should put more energy in training staff and providing service and value to their customers that are subject to having limited choices. They still charged me all delivery...
Read moreI called them up. A grouchy middle eastern man with a bad attitude picks up. Doesn't say anything, and gets frustrated at me for waiting for him to say something. I ask them if they're open, at 8:40PM today, 20 minutes before closing. They say no, they're closed, and hang up on me.
First off, if you're closed, why are you answering the phone? I have a sneaking suspicion that the employees are only offering late night service if you're a specific demographic. Everyone else is being rudely told to buzz off. Secondly, what's the point of having business hours if you're not going to keep them? Just say the restaurant closes at 8:30PM instead of 9PM. This is the first time I've ever been told that they're closed before closing hours, and I strongly believe it's because of a handful of new employees being discriminatory.
The pizza is extremely low quality, too. It tastes of employees putting in the minimal amount of effort because they know they can't be fired. Raw dough, low quality ingredients, overpriced. What I wouldn't do for a pizza hut on the island, if for no other reason than to force the locals to compete with someone actually competent.
Overall I'm actually thankful they saved me from an impulsive purchase, but I'm sure I'm not the first, or last, person that the employees have refused the money from. If I was the manager/owner...
Read moreIt starts with the interrupting on the phone while your trying to just say your toppings, this is the second time we have waited close to two hours for our pizza. Tonights arrival had clearly had a toss up in the car as the pizza had slid to one side and was mashed. On top of receiving a call an hr prior to arrival saying they were leaving with it, so it was cold and awful. Typically the pizza is just ok so you need it to come fresh and hot, when sitting for this long it enters a new realm of disappointment. With salt spring comes the we dont care or have to try because we know you can’t get a delivery pizza from anywhere else. On top of it they are always confused, never apologetic and really do not seem to have any interest in what’s going on. Pizza night takes on a stressful strange negative vibe when the reason for pizza night is to have an easy night. Too bad. All it would take is taking some pride in this company to turn it around, im sure everyone would be...
