The service was friendly and prompt. The food was hot, fresh but surprisingly bland. At least, that is, the Alfredo which we had both without mushrooms and with mushrooms and chicken (points to service for special order accuracy). Both bland. The butter chicken bowl was also meh. For almost $30 per person you expect flavour. The best part of the meal should not be the bread on the side.

Came here for Canucks game. The bar didn’t know how to make any drinks. Very limited beer selection. Chicken wings were surprisingly juicy 👍🏻 Caesar salad came completely deconstructed.

The restaurant was beautiful, very modern decor, warm and inviting atmosphere, comfortable outside sitting areas, heat lamps. There was also a fireplace both indoor and outdoor. It was convenient to have a restaurant attached to our hotel and operating until 11:00 pm.

The disappointment was the dinner I ordered for the two days I stayed at the hotel. I ordered a salmon panko-crusted salad with a vinaigrette dressing. The salmon was extremely dry with the panko crumbs, and was not seasoned. The salad dressing was not mixed into the lettuce and other vegetables, it was awkward to pour the dressing over-top and mix everything together. Included with the dinner was a deep-fried cookie sized goat cheese. This was okay, but again the Panko crumbs do not work well with deep frying either fish or goat cheese. It was just so dry.

I did enjoy the iced tea, this drink was spot-on delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my meal because there was lack of seasoning, and dry meat.

The second night, I thought I'd take a chance with the Fish and Chips. Again, the chef used Panko crumbs on the fish, NOT the typical beer-batter that I am accustomed to. Halibut was extremely dry. It's a shame because this is a very expensive fish. The french fries were amazing, and again the ice tea was top notch.

I went back to order the Tiramisu dessert, this was excellent A++, very smooth cream, light cake batter, a wonderful delicate dessert.

The waiters were also excellent, very attentive and friendly. Very happy with the service.

My recommendations: use beer batter for your fish and chips, it is tastier and will not dry out the fish provide home-made salad dressings. It tasted like I was eating dressing straight from a bottle. Very thick, and too sweet. mix the salad dressing together with the vegetables before serving, it's very cumbersome to pour dressing all over the salad and mix it on the plate -- extra work for the customer never use Panko crumbs, these completely dry out the meat, or the chef is letting it fry much too long please marinate your fish or at least salt the salmon before grilling or frying, there was absolutely no taste.

To be quite honest, I thought that Moby's Pub across the street served authentic and inspiring dishes compared to...

Atmosphere and ambiance is lovely. Our waitstaff Moh was most wonderful and helpful. He made our dinner memorable. Very fun to be with. My husband and I ordered the crab dip which was surprisingly good-as we are used to cold crab dips. This one was hot and the bread that came with it is also good. For the entrees, my husband got the beer battered fish and chips and he was really disappointed. Fish and chips is one of my husband's main foods to order especially if we are new to a place. This dish did not taste like beer battered at all and was not cooked as a "fish and chips" meal. The fish was cooked, just to clarify. The coleslaw is also just okay. The fries were the only amazing part of this dish. But was quite expensive for a 1 pc. Around $28 as i recall. I ordered the mushroom fettucine. It was just okay. The mushrooms were not properly mixed in with the sauce so I did not have that mushroom flavour unless i bite 3 pcs of mushroom together with my pasta. It was just bland.

Anyways, service was really amazing. Made up for the just okay food. Hopefully the kitchen turns it around coz the crab dip was really...

We went to Woodley’s with a group of friends on a Friday evening. Don’t know what to say. The food was so poor it was laughable. I had an $18 bowl of Seafood Chowder and the only seafood I could see was the grilled prawn hanging on the outer lip of the bowl… No clams or seafood to be seen in the broth that just tasted like warm runny cream with a few finely chopped veggies. No seafood taste at all… I had to ask for a spoon as none was provided and when the server returned I was given a large serving spoon… Maybe the dishwasher was broken… who knows… The server was unable to handle more than one drink order for a single person at a time. The servers obviously have had little training by the management. Too bad because the room appears to have been recently updated but to no avail with the poor food quality and...
