Mike's Pizza and Subs — Restaurant in Sarnia

I called ahead. They answered, I asked for an extra large pizza, then realized no one was on the line, they had put the phone down to talk to someone else without saying anything to me. When she finally came back, I placed my order. When I got there, I watched people leave, then come back because they're order was completely wrong. Still, I was stupid enough to assume mine was right. If course it wasn't. But it's ok, because according to them, "they're busy and understaffed". Example of a wrong order? A salami sub, with mayo and cheese. It's made AS YOU ORDER IT. Get home to dry bread with salami. That extra large pizza I ordered? It was a large, because they couldn't be bothered to tell me they don't make extra large, but I could get a 2 pizza deal instead. But at least they put 2 of the 3 toppings I ordered on it.

This was my first time here, but my Father is a Mike's P&S devotee. A well deserved 5 stars. If you are looking for a classic style sub with quality fresh ingredients cut daily, this is the spot. The subs are delicious, the service is amazing (thanks Crystal) and they also have pizza here, meaning that the toppings list is expanded significantly. Bonus notes: 1. They have a 2 sub deal where you save about a dollar on average to get two subs of a similar category. 2. DO NOT SLEEP on their signature sub sauce. An amazing blend of dressing, mayo, peppers and seasoning, this sauce took my sandwich to a whole new level. Highly recommended. Pictured: Turkey subs on whole wheat and white, no cheese, heavy on the veg. Additional note: I had an issue once with a missing topping on a delivery sub and they delivered the missing topping in less than ten minutes....

Mike's Pizza and Subs in Sarnia is a gem! They offer a large selection of menu items, including pizza, subs, gyros, and my personal favorite—the Panzerotti. The Panzerotti is a must-try: perfectly crispy, generously stuffed, and absolutely delicious!
