Iāve always had good experiences when I came here but my last visit was something elseā¦.. I ordered through the app and went to go pick it up, Iāve had no problems with this in the past but my last visit was a bit different. The whole store was empty and so was the drive through, I went to go pick up my order and only my drink was there. All the baristas were busy except for one and it was like when she saw me she ran to the back and started to bring out more cups which the cups they already had up at the front were overflowing almost. Took her 10 minutes to even acknowledge me at the counter and when I told her I ordered a sandwich too and it wasnāt with my drink she went to the drive through window and threw it on the counter to me. Didnāt even say a word to me when I said thank you and have a nice day. Like the restaurant was empty and so was the drive throughā¦. you canāt take 10 seconds to hand me my sandwich I ordered and not be rude about it? I asked her I want my drinks with no ice. She told me that for no ice in the lemonade there is a dollar up charge. Itās my first time hearing that. I have been to Starbucks quite a lot. I have never heard anything like that. And also the way she said that to me was so rude. I think she thought that I canāt afford a dollar for the up charge. Even though I didnāt ask her why there is an up charge. And also Itās a common sense that , for 4 drinks the customer needs a tray. But they didnāt give me one. But I asked her politely for a tray for my drinks. That girl just tossed a tray at me. I work in customer service as well. I know how things work in that field . Ā Ā Ā Read moreI understand being busy in customer service is overwhelming, but when my husband went to pick up an order and it was missing an item, he was told by staff they didnāt see it being ordered on their end (without checking) and that they were too busy because of being short staffed. Instead of trying to help with the order, they continued placing orders for the high school rush and let him stand there waiting for 20 minutes until he realized they had no interest in making our food order even with proof of purchase. He ended up walking out without the rest of our order and went to Tim Hortons. I tried calling the location to at least get our money back for the food we didnāt receive and no one answered the phone.
