Blue Diamond Restaurant — Restaurant in Saskatoon

We were at this restaurant for a lunch time on the 29th of September and faced a terrible service!!! We have ordered 2 zucchini cream soups to eat at the restaurant as well as sea food salad and wild boar cheecks to take away. While waiting for the order we have noticed the special offer, if you take a picture of the dish and public the photo in the Instagram, tagging them you get a free cocktail. I took a picture showed it in Instagram to the waiter, she said she would come later meanwhile I had to choose which cocktailI want, but then just disappeared. We were trying to call her to take the order for cocktail for 40 minutes! Eventually, I came to the bar explaining the situation and the lady in the bar said that this only concerned the photo of the main dish. I said ok, then bring me my main dish which I ordered to take away and I take a picture of it,though it is not mentioned anywhere. She refused I asked to call the manager of the restaurant he came and said!!!! WE SHOULD SPEAK POLISH BECAUSE WE ARE IN POLAND!!!I said that the restaurant is in 4 stars international restaurant, they have menu In English what is the problem to speak English? He actually speaks English and understand that he was wrong just was gready to serve with a free cocktail! Such a shame!! They heard we speak Ukrainian and it was a Nacionalizm case! It is ridiculous!!! After that the waiters also said they speak only Polish. It is a real Nationalizm.I will apply to antinationalizm comitee!! BAD SERVICE BUT GREAT FOOD. Our waitress , blond mid 20’s lady was the most rude person I’ve ever met and I honestly don’t know how she works there , BAD SERVICE almost had to ask for another waiter , we were nothing but respectful towards her and she asked “how is your food , good?” Then walks away as we didn’t even answer her , DID NOT come and ask us if we needed more water nor did she EVER check on us, we had to GO UP to the front desk and ask for things ourself , she seemed OVERLY annoyed when she had no reason to be , we asked for more water and she began dumping the water in our cups along with dumping it ON US and not even saying sorry. SHE WOULD SIGH WHEN WE ASKED FOR EXTRA DIPPING SAUSE! SHE WOULD ROLL HER EYES WHEN ALL WE WANTED WAS DECENT SERVICE. Disrespectful lady and I was not pleased as it was my first time taking my family to try this place I went to ever since a kid. So disappointed! Took my elderly mon for her birthday and it was a disaster. I ordered the Greek ribs and I kid you not there was barely any meat on them & fries were cold. The caesar croutons were so hard that I thought I had broken a filling until I realized it was the croutons. I had paid extra and wanted to start with the Greek salad but when it came out you couldn’t see any tomatoes, onions, or cucumbers through the lettuce. Apparently your supposed to order a “village” Greek salad if you want an actual Greek salad. Next time I want Greek food I’ll go to Opa, which is sad. My mom who is pretty easy to please was also disappointed with her steak sandwich. My husband had the baked spaghetti with meat sauce which had almost no meat sauce and was super sweet.
