Went out with a large group of family to celebrate my grandmothers retirement. Was going pretty good throughout our evening, although the Sangria's were disgusting, a shame we bought a pitcher. Food was good although the kids chicken meal was noticeably burnt and as some others had mentioned, really small portions of fries compared to other outings to BP's, Stoon or elsewhere.
The biggest issues come when we're trying to leave. 5 families(2-4 in each) plus 7 other individuals all needed to pay at the same time. now keep in mind there's one group in the bar watching the Euro and 2 or 3 other tables in the dining area. Then the bills are wrong, people are waiting... The bar is loud.. people want to leave, so they start going to the front which has a til to pay. Then rather than grabbing a terminal or two himself, he chooses to give the waitress what for about the bills and people paying at the front and walks away. When I confront the manager about it he seems to throw the waitress under the bus saying she'd been up late with her kids. No give her a hand, especially when there's no one else in the restaurant! Im sure its not that often that 13 people need to use a machine to pay.. really poor service and poor management. The manager that I spoke with wasn't able to do anything on the spot and took my information, stating that he had run it by the manager, I would assume thats the General Manager and that he figured about $25 gift certificate or more since the Sangria's were terrible and I was unhappy. Well see if they follow through, if so, I'll remove the sangrias from my rating and consider the correction. Also would use it for a second shot and if they blow that, then there are other sports bars in the city.
Edit: 2 years later and still never received the gift card or even a contact from the Manager and I haven’t been back. The fact my reviews only been seen by 64 people compared to the 1000+ views at other businesses shows that nobody really thinks this location is worth their...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of BP since past 12 years. We went in today (Jun 20. 2021) at this location with a couple families for 10 adults and three kids. This review is for Darby, the night manager on duty. We had a reservation for 9.30PM. Due to COVID last call for alcohol is 10PM, so we had our drinks ordered before then and having a good time. Junior (server) was taking excellent care of us. Suddenly Darby walks up to me around 11PM and very rudely says your beer pitcher should not be sitting on the table and demanded we pour the beer on our cups right away. He said “you guys should be grateful I haven’t taken the beer from you”.
By this time there was no last call for our main course and was forced to order dessert after we finished our starters.
Being a previous bar owner I understand how unsettling it may get when you are trying to end your day but does that mean you take it out on your customers? It felt like a racial attack where he thought it was right of him to do so whatever he was doing and all 10 of us adults are in the wrong. All we were expecting was a simple apology and Darby thought we are after some sort of discount. Coming in with 13 people does it seem like we are trying to cut corners by saving a few pennies?
Managers are meant to diffuse the situation rather than aggravate it. Darby outright told us we should apologize to him, pay the bill or else he would call the cops on us! We were ready to wait for cops but with kids we withheld, paid our bill and went our way ruining the birthday party.
If this is accepted level of customer service at Boston Pizza, I’m sorry but will never ever again visit you...

Girlfreind ordered fet.and chicken alfredo & i ordered seafood alfredo fine ,10 min.later server came back told us they had no alfredo sause ,seriouly guys ,so we changed our orders to penne ,again bout 7 min.later told they had no Penne ,so again we changed our order YET AGAIN i got a wrap n salad she got the chicken cassadilla ,she took one bite n couldnt eat it had no chicken in it & totally tasteless ,server asked if she could wrap it up for her Brenda the girlfreind she told her no cause it was no good ,server said i dont blame u cause they ARE bland & tastless laughed n walked away .I wish she would have told us that in the first place .We have been goin there for over 8 yrs .We will NEVER GO TO B.P EVER AGAIN .IM GOING TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO GO THERE EVER AGAIN .You dont even deserve a -5 rating . They r uncareing didnt even offer to take something off our bill .I can c how Jim.T.made his money now .He takes it from the working man laughs & goes on to next customer .JERKS .I will take out an ad in the paper if i have too ,to tell everyone not to go there im sure they will just laugh again and carry on .Your known for pizza n pasta ,but to have no sause & no pasta seriously guys give your heads a shake.Prob. wont even post this .Ill make sure i go on facebook as well .Sleep well Jim ,i know i wont...
