Cora Breakfast and Lunch — Restaurant in Saskatoon

Cora Stonebridge Saskatoon. Our first time at Cora and the more we think about the experience the more we feel compelled to describe it. The table next to us was very agitated with the waitress for giving him the wrong bill, which he paid for, and I don’t think there was an easy fix. He was elderly and very concerned how such a thing could happen with his credit card. The waitress told him that he would understand if he knew what she was going through in her personal life. She served us. The drinking water was lukewarm. Why bother? She was pleasant and took our order. Food looked great, and tasted ok. Liked the potatoes, but the meal was not very hot. Other people who arrived after us received their food before us. We really didn’t see her for a very long time after that. In fact she didn’t even bring us our food. She was awol. The tables around us were full of dishes, dirty and unwiped,attracting flies. I had ordered my poached eggs over medium but they were over easy. Somewhat warm. No one around for assistance. She came by and asked how there were, offered to heat them up but I was halfway through it. We didn’t get attention. Seemed like the place was run by a bunch of teenagers. We sent our bill back 3 times because the waitress made a mistake each time. Her excuse was that we were her last table of the day. We walked out of the restaurant and saw how disgusting the servery was, not maintained throughout the day. Garbage all over the floor. The whole place was filthy. The front door was gross and so was the door to the patio. Lots of businesses wash and clean their doors daily if not hourly. Makes you wonder about their kitchen. We will give another location a try, because the menu looks good. Too much disappointment at...

Won’t go back to any Cora’s again. Went there on September 22, 2018 with my sister. Was seated at around 9:45am. I got my coffee and she got her drink. Was told my waitress would be right with me. I understand waitress’ get busy. But I had to wait 30 minutes (literally. I started timing after 5 minutes) with an 8 year old who hasn’t ate yet that day. Many of the people working there saw us still sitting with our menues. Tried waving a couple of the employee’s down and they ignored me. Didn’t even come to film up my coffee??? Wow. It’s now 10:30am and I have to call someone over because it’s the only way someone paid attention. Was told that my waitress left. Maybe you should’ve look at what tables you had. Then when we FINALLY got a proper waitress (after another 5 minutes of waiting for the new waitress to get there) wasn’t even served with a smile. When my sister got her eggs they were cold and very little on the plate (wish I had gotten a picture). I paid $7.33 (around there) for cold, minimal old looking scrambled eggs. Looks like they were reheated in the microwave from a wrong order. Then we have to hunt a waitress down for our bill. My coffee never got offered to be refilled once in the hour and half we were there. Weren’t offer any coupons for the lack of service, no SR, nothing. Wish I could give -5 stars. Went on April 28th for lunch. Our waitress took our order fairly quickly and we never saw her again. Another waitress brought our food after a very long wait (other tables came way after us and got their food before us) but nobody checked again afterwards. If they would have checked they would have heard me ask for the other half of my meal, or let them know that my daughters meal was actually wrong and inedible. She got the kids crepe with bananas but the one they brought had strawberries which she wouldn't touch. However the crepe itself was like the kitchen served a very old mistake! The crepe was so hard and tough it was almost impossible to cut and sharp jagged pieces flew off as I cut it as it was so hard and crusty! After finishing then we sat there for a painfully long time but our waitress avoided our corner of the restaurant so badly we decided to go up to the front to pay. The second I reached the front she rushed over "oh hey I was just bringing over your bill" Yeah sure you were... wish I could say I was sorry for not leaving a tip but I wasn't..... The only thing that made it worth 1 star was the guy and girl who seemed like they were responsible for clearing and setting tables. They thankfully kept us with coffee and...
