Inconsistent Experience with Montanas McOrmand: App Ordering Woes and Disappointing Food
I recently ordered at Montanas McOrmand in Saskatoon, and I must say, my overall experience was not up to par. While I have always enjoyed their food in the past, my recent encounters with their app ordering system have left me disappointed.
Over the past seven orders I've placed through their app, a staggering five of them had missing items. It started with minor hiccups like forgetting the beloved cornbread that should have been included. However, on my latest visit, they omitted the dessert I ordered and paid $6.99 for, which was a letdown. On top of that, despite tipping the kitchen 15 to 20% with each app order, the consistency issues have left me dissatisfied as a customer.
Another alarming problem was with my order of Southern Chicken, which is supposed to come with beans. Unfortunately, the beans were served with the stems still intact, rendering them inedible due to their hardness. I expect the kitchen to properly prepare and serve the dishes, and this oversight was disappointing.
Although this was the first time I encountered such problems, I'm hesitant to give Montanas another chance, as the issues seem to be persisting. It's crucial for any restaurant, especially a reputable chain like Montanas, to pay attention to the details and deliver a consistent experience to their customers.
In conclusion, while Montanas McOrmand has previously impressed me with their great food, the recent problems with app orders and the disappointing quality of food have left me as an unhappy customer. I am now advising others to be cautious when ordering through the app. The restaurant needs to address these issues promptly if they want to retain their loyal customers. Details matter, Montanas, and it's time to step...
Read moreWent to this location for my wife's bday dinner with family, so many things are went wrong. This sucks to post as its been our families favorite place to go when we decide to go out. Food was so bad to night that we have decided that we probably won't visit this place again. How bad was it, well I'm typing this at 9p.m I'm currently making my dinner. Our food came out, daughters chicken tenders and my plate which was a 10oz steak. It looked good as usual except for the chives and mushrooms, suppose to be glazed onions and mushrooms. Unfortunately by time silverware came my stuff was ice cold. Manager took it back and said they would make a new one great. My wife's steak was suppose Tobe med rare but it was closer to rare/blue and iam pretty sure my mom's was still moving in the middle. Anyway my steak came back, however it was so tuff couldn't cut it with a knife. And for some reason it looked like a boiled steak. Fries are supposed to be seasoned fries but they where plain. Now on to the men's bathroom if you attend you may want to use a washroom else where first, I have never seen a disaster like that. Even the portapotties on a construction site our cleaner then that was. The manager was super friendly and so was our waitress. But unfortunately the other 2 people that came to our table where not and thats why i can give more stars for service. I don't know what was going on in that kitchen tonight but by the looks of others in the restaurant we are not the only ones that left...
Read moreMy husband and I went to this Montana's on July 20th. Got there at about 7 and we were asked to wait for a table. 5 or so minutes no big deal. We've got our twin 2 year old girls and our 3 month old with us. We were seated at our table and had to wait another 5 or so minutes for our server to introduce himself. He came and did so, we ordered drinks and food for the twins knowing if they didn't get their food right away they'd start to get hard to handle. Our drinks came shortly after and my husband and I ordered for ourselves. Now it's been maybe 15 to 20 minutes since we arrived. Girls get their food in pretty good time. Our baby starts to get fussy so I start to feed her she feeds and falls asleep. We're wondering where our food is by this time. I checked my phone and it's now 815. We've been in the restaurant for over an hour. The twins are almost done eating and we don't even have our food yet. I ask our set when we're going to get it and I get " it's coming I can't control how long it takes" instead of treating us with respect and apologizing for the delay he's incredibly rude and continues to be rude afterwards. By the time we've got our food the twins are ready to leave and our baby is crying. My ribs were overcooked and my husband's poutine was cold. Needless to say after spending 2 hours in the restaurant with three small kids ruining any other plans we had for the evening, we won't...
