We did have a bigger group but they could not handle all of the orders going on in the restaurant and for pick up. It was a Monday for context.
They didn’t know which dish went to what person and ended up putting incorrect ones in front of people - we did order some similar dishes and weren’t sure exactly what they were.
The lemon chicken had no sauce and was not very lemon-y at all. We asked for some more sauce and they brought a bowl of lemon juice - so maybe a language issue.
One member of our party didn’t get their food. We were trying to flag someone down, but that was difficult as they were running around and didn’t come to check on how we were doing. When they did, it seemed as though the meal was forgotten. So they quickly prepared it and asked if they’d like ketchup for it. We said yes. And it never came. Same thing with trying to get their attention. Finally I went up and asked and got a 1.5 L bottle given to me.
Now one positive is that their menu does have a decent vegetarian section. And the rest of our food was fine. It just wasn’t a great...
Read moreTried this place hoping for a solid mix of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai cuisine. Unfortunately, it felt more like a confused mash-up than a true fusion. The pho lacked depth, the pad Thai was dry and flavorless, and the General Tso’s chicken was soggy and overly sweet. Service was indifferent our server barely acknowledged us, and missing items from our order were never brought out. The restaurant itself felt unkempt, with sticky tables and a strange smell coming from them. Way overpriced for the quality. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning. My suggestion? Stick to one cuisine this place comes off as a jack of all trades, master of none.
We need to start holding establishments like this accountable especially when they expect payment for what they call a service, yet deliver neither quality nor care. It’s not just disappointing it’s...
Read moreOrdered takeout from here on a Monday night. Easy to order online from their website. Ordered Curry with coconut sauce Chicken and it was listed under soups but when I opened it at home it definitely wasn’t a soup. It was a thick curry sauce like the menu said with tender chicken and potato chunks mixed in and came in a separate container that I poured over the noodles. Very delicious but less noodles and broth/sauce than my wife’s soup. My wife had the sautéed chicken rice noodle soup which was very delicious also. We also ordered the fresh rolls which were wrapped in plastic wrap to keep from drying out which I appreciated. These were average and comparable to most other Vietnamese restaurants, nothing special and the peanut dipping sauce had not very peanuty flavour. Very tasty overall and I’m very happy to finally have a good Vietnamese restaurant in our...
