We were part of a large group (25 or so I believe) and I understand that can be a challenge for a restaurant. Very nice inside, with a warm feel. Service on arrival was pretty good, drink orders taken and served fairly quickly. Appetizers - my wife and I split the octopus. excellent presentation and perfect texture. However, the dish lacked any significant flavour. Mains - I had the ribeye my wife the fish (this evening it was a snapper). both ordered without a starch. The snapper arrived lukewarm. The salad it was served with was excellent. The ribeye arrived the first time with a starch, so I advised the runner that it was probably someone else's (there was 25 of us) and it was returned to the kitchen. It arrived a second time identical to the first. The third time it was brought to the table it was cold. Not like my wife's lukewarm fish but rather room temperature. I needed to return it to the kitchen. The 4th time served it was simply reheated. As a result, my medium rare steak was served well done and after everyone else had basically finished their meals. It was an excellent cut of steak, and the vegetables, while also over cooked at this point, had great flavour. I am probably being generous with 3 stars. Servers seemed to have a hard time keeping up with the group. No one checked in on our meals, rather we needed to flag them down when needed. No salt / pepper on the tables. I could see it on a server table but it was never offered. With tip our bill was just north of $230. When you place your establishment at this price point you need better execution. On this evening they...

This was the most disrespectful service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. When we first inquired about items on the menu, our server had no knowledge of the menu and could provide an unconvincing recommendation for the lamb. We chose a bottle of wine well known to one of the members of our party from her wedding (Cave Springs Dolomite Pinot Noir). When the server brought us the bottle, he corked the bottle before confirming this had been the bottle we had ordered. We quickly corrected the server, and pointed out politely that this was not the bottle we ordered. Not only was our server rude and condescending, but he tried to convince us that the $20 bottle of wine he brought us was the same bottle as what is listed on the menu. In attempt to rectify his mistake, he brought the owner over, and to our dismay the owner was incredibly misogynistic and condescending and told us it’s the same bottle of wine and that “[he] knew the family” and told us to reference the label, where no where did it reference how it was the bottle of wine we had ordered. At this point we had agreed to take the bottle willingly, because we were attempting to be polite and continue on with our evening despite the error in service, disrespectful treatment, and uncalled for confrontation- the owner continued to argue, left our table without apologizing and left the bottle half corked, treating us like peasants to serve our own bottle of wine. Meal was sub...

This restaurant is pretty nice! And well priced. $15-22 appetizers, $24-45 mains including steak, pasta, pizza, duck, lamb rack, chicken, market seafood, muscles, etc. We had the octopus appetizer, it was by far my fav. The Mediterranean pizza was good - I liked the feta cheese, but I wasn’t crazy about the crust.

The baked cheese pasta was good too, it was just a bit simple and plain? I wasn’t wowed, but it was good because it was bread and cheese and tomato sauce! Where to go wrong? Just wasn’t wowed.

The people next to us had the wonton appetizer dish and THAT looked great.

The flourless chocolate cake was also good. Wish it had a berry compote or raspberry puree or something to cut through the richness. They had some ice cream, but it didn’t taste too high quality to me? Think berries go better. They gave one strawberry and one blackberry, neither of which were very ripe.

Service is slightly slow but nothing crazy. People are very nice and friendly!

They have an outdoor patio that was empty on a Sept Saturday night. Inside is much more ambient, it has great lighting. You should call to make a reservation (or pop by).

There is a parking lot for the restaurant.

We ordered an espresso. It was not an espresso. Tasted a bit like my office machine’s Americano, which unfortunately is not a compliment

I would come back to try more of the appetizers. Think this place has potential to be a 5 star nicer dining spot in...

I love a restaurant that cares about quality ingredients and making a 5 star dish. The short rib tagliatelle was to die for- I would send anyone here just for that. We also had the rosemary vanilla crème brûlée for dessert which was one of the best I’ve ever had. We hoped to sit on the patio but it was closed due to rain and a little loud inside but the food and service made up for it. Very impressed with the fine dining feel, yet affordability of Rosina. I will be recommending to friends and family!

Rosina is such a great place to go if you are in the mood for Italian. Anytime I can get in house made pasta, I’m down. We had their four cheese agnolotti. The pasta was tender and the sauce and Swiss chard were nice too. The star though was the shrimp and crab pasta. My dinner date ordered it and I was eating off of their plate more than mine. They also make pizza as well. Their patio in the back is nice but we were seated in our own private room. It was a delightful experience.
