Working at this restaurant was not only my first job ever, but also one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. From the moment I stepped into the kitchen to the time I served the guests, I witnessed firsthand the incredibly high standards this place maintains across every aspect of its operation.

What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is the owner (Eric). He is an incredibly intelligent, visionary, and hard-working individual who understands not only the business side of things but also how to create an unforgettable dining experience for his customers. His leadership, dedication, and passion are evident in every corner of the restaurant. I learned so much from him during my time here—lessons in professionalism, attention to detail, and how to run a successful business with heart.

THE BEST MEXICAN IN TOWN!

So I absolutely LOVE Mexican cuisine, and have yet to try out Qdoba so I decided that I would tonight, and it was AMAZING! I ordered the adobo chicken quesedilla with fajita grilled veggies on the inside, and I got the absolutely delicious cilantro lime vinagrette on the side. I love sour cream traditionally with my quesadilla's but today the cilantro lime vinagrette was a really nice pairing for dipping the quesedilla. It has just enough cilantro flavour, a strong lime flavour, and a nice hint of sweetness, my guess is agave or honey. Really nice! The quesedilla portion was nice and big, enough to get me full on it's on, although I could've probably eaten two because it was so good!

I also ordered the three cheese queso with chips on the side, and that was really nice too. The cheese wasn't overpowering, and was a super nice light creamy type of queso with jalapeno's and other veggies into it. Would definitely like to maybe try a spicier version next time though, it was a mild queso!

All in all, it was a really good experience, and I think I found my favorite new restaurant in town.

OH, and Syd, who I believe works there, left a smiley face on my bag which was a nice touch. I've heard from friends they have a really nice front of house staff there, so it was nice to see that extra little customer service touch for someone who ordered online.

Whether its a bowl or the family nacho meal, Qdoba in Sault Ste. Marie never fails to deliver.

It is refreshing to go into the restaurant to order and be greeted by the pleasant sound of Mexican themed music.

Watching chicken breasts sizzle on the grill appeals to so many senses at once. The visual appeal of the entire grill consumed by browned chicken, seared with a blend of golden and charred bark, the sound of it sizzling and the smell as my favourite protein approaches ideal temperature for consumption is a little hypnotic.

Qdoba always has fresh ingredients, store-made guacamole, delicious pico de gallo and the queso is pretty tasty too.

This restaurant is always clean, every employee is always busy doing some sort of task to make the whole place work.
