Snak Shak Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Selkirk

I ordered the taco salad. This shouldn't be on the menu as far as I'm concerned. It has a sweet sauce of some kind. I have never had a taco salad with sweet sauce on it, this is not traditional, and nor was it mentioned or displayed on their order board. it was disgusting, my wife tried it also and said its gross. Called spoke to someone they agreed to replace my 10$ taco salad with a tiny 6$ hamburger. I fully expected that snak shak would make an effort to make this right in which case i would not be writing a negative review. But no they did not, i was insulted with a tiny 6$ hamburger after paying 10$. I now have to go somewhere else to order food, im still hungry. Snak shak, do better. I have clearly been ripped off. A further update to this is after a week I received a message from the owner offered me another 6$ hamburger to make this situation right. too little too late. I will never be back to this place, and I will share my experience with friends and family. Disappointing when you give a business a second chance, and they don't make use of the opportunity. I'm not sure why people eat here or support...

get disappointed by this place today young skinny dark-haired girl, picking her nose while making my ice cream. I asked for crushed peanuts on my dip, vanilla cone, and it was like peanut dust. Medium was the size of a small. Stop for a strawberry banana milkshake when they open this year and the woman had her hand in the machine scooping ice cream hold into a cup. I cancelled my order! I really don’t recommend this place lots of other places close. The Dairy Queen blizzards are better with more stuff. Then the snack shack twister. Last year the bad boy burger was decent. Taco salad and taco fries were the best. So far this year disappointed ice cream Sunday looked like a disaster asked me if I wanted whip cream I said no so possibly ran out or messed it up tried to remove was an absolute mess. Cell died or I would have taken a picture. Very small for price. New guy working so I’ll try one more time and update. Not hearing good things...

My family went to the snak shak for dinner this week. We ordered the spicy chicken burger, chicken fingers, kids dog and two orders of onion rings. Our order came to around $30 which doesn't sound like much on paper but the proportion sizes were so small (particularly the chicken fingers and onion rings) and we were very unimpressed with the quality of the food. For example, the "spicy" chicken burger would have been no different than me purchasing frozen chicken burger patties, wonder bread buns, and a head of lettuce from the grocery store and slapping them together at home. Although I could see some red sauce indicating my burger was supposed to be spicy, I would not have know from flavour alone (and even asked my husband if he had ordered the right one). We will not be ordering food from here again. To be fair, we got ice cream after and it was delicious (though I can't imagine anyone could screw...
