My family and I saw a nice , cozy old Italian restaurant on our way back from sauble beach late evening. We didn’t waste a second before we rushed in and ordered the biggest XL pizza we had ever seen along with some wings. The pictures on the wall, the nice lady at the front , and the owner all give off rich history and amazing vibes.Pizza was exquisite , fresh ingredients and tomato sauce with some goooooood cheese. After we made a mess with plates and ate everything, we realized the store was closed for dine-in an hour before we even placed the order on a SUNDAY 🤯. Most places would have physically kicked us out and I wouldn’t blame them but it was only the staffs and the owners generosity and kindness that allowed us to stay there and eat after closing. Truly something my family and I won’t forget. In a world that’s always rushing and chasing , we were met with a place of grace and those days that remind you the good old times. Thank you Johnny for the memorable night. GO GET...
Read moreWent there today, cashier/server was not very friendly. Ordered a slice at $5.50 plus tax, wanted some hot peppers added, the rude tattooed girl making the pizza said 50 cents so I said ok. Got the slice with barely any hot peppers on it and so I asked for more and staff demanded another 50 cents. I said no!
At over $7 tax in for an average just ok nothing special pizza slice with doughy crust, (not crunchy) I’m not impressed! Definitely won’t be going back! That said I eat at the Orangeville sister store and it’s 10x better there.
Being in the small Town Of Shelburne, I’m surprised they can stay in business. That said perhaps they are the only pizza shop?
Nevertheless 2 stars all around from Cleanliness to vibe, service and food. What a shame !...
Read moreCustomer service is questionable! Wanted a pizza on Sunday evening. Looked up hours of operations and it was listed open from 4 PM to 9 PM. Called to order at 7:32 PM no answer so I walked to the store. Arrived at 7:40 but they would not take my order! I was informed they close a 8 PM Sunday. Was also informed the last call for orders was 7:30 PM. So my beef with Johnny's is if you state a closing at 8 PM then you should take orders up to closing. When I worked in the restaurant industry WE honored our hours of business! If customers came in we served them! If their policy is no orders 30 minutes before their posted closing they should list that time as their official closing time. Johnny's please update your web listing...
