It was a big exciting day for the Missus and I. We drove in the Sherbrooke to do a Costco run, and then a quick visit Canada's Store for a pair of rubber boots. We had planned lunch at Siboire afterwards so our level of excitement was pretty high.
Parking: Rock Star parking.
Seating: Nice table upstairs- partial window-view.
Service: Our server was prompt and professional and spoke the language of the clients.
Food: I hade the beef tartar, and the Missus chose a prosciutto and arugula pizza. I've dined at some pretty prestige bistros over the years and the tartar they served me was absolutely on par with the best one's I've had in Montreal, and France. Bravo freaking Zulu Chef! Sweetie's pizza was delicious to according to said Sweetie. Again, kudos to the Kitchen!
Drinks: White wine for the Missus because that's the way she rolls. A 0% alc brown beer for me because I'm driving. According to many sources the pour that I received was cause for litigation, and cause for much worse than that in Ireland where I'm told the barman's well-being would be forfeit.
All in all though, the place was lively, the food and service spot-on, and their bar-person needs to find a...
Read moreVisited on September 23, 2019, in the evening. Located in the very commercials section of King, but just off that street. it is their second brewpub not just in Sherbrooke but overall. BTW, I've visited all three of them. Not like the two others, this one is in a new building, two storeys and a bit bigger than the Dépôt location. The tap selection is about the same like the two others and you can't go wrong with what they got. Food wise, they specialise in pizza, like the Dépôt location specialise in fish and chips (including salmon), the pizza are not too big, good enough for one person, or you can share for a small bit, btw they are quite good. Very good service, the waitress even notice something wrong with our plates before arriving to our table. A very...
Read moreWhile the service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff, the food and drinks fell short of expectations. The old-fashioned cocktails lacked the expected depth of flavor from Angostura bitters, tasting primarily of Canadian Club. Our appetizer, ordered without tomatoes, was mistakenly served with them. Additionally, my pastrami poutine was incorrectly labeled and contained smoked meat instead of pastrami. Although the poutine itself was tasty, the portion size and incorrect labeling were not justified by the price. To make matters worse, the bowl my poutine was served in had a significant chip that caused me to cut my thumb. Despite the pleasant atmosphere and excellent service, I would not return for food or drinks due to these...
