Denny's Restaurant — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

ordered the ultimate omelet and let me tell you ....it was about as ultimately un appetizing thing I have ever eaten and I did not eat much of it . .and it took 45 min to get a refill on the coffee and the place was next to deserted...I remember a time when Denny's was a great place for anytime to grab good food at a decent price and you left full and happy.....But this was the second time I have been to this location and left with anything other than an emtier wallet and disappointment with the food and service.The waitress finally asked if we were just taking a break from eating ,I said no ..the veggies in my omelet tasted like they had been frozen and very mushy and over cooked and there was no cheese at all in 3/4 of it I know because I opened it looking for the cheese that was missing in the first few bites ...but by the time I started looking for it I had already decided that I wouldn't be eating another bite of it ..my rye toast tasted and felt like it was the oldest loaf in the place it was super hard I couldn't even bite it thought it was going to break my teeth on it trying . .after all that was told to the waitress her idea of helping me with that was coming back to offer me 10 % off the bill when I had sent back pretty much everything minus half the potatoes as they where about the only edible thing on the plate that didn't taste like they had been freezer burnt soaked in water for a week or left out of the bag sitting on a shelf for a week before they expected someone to eat it ...overall I'm extremely disappointed in the food and the terrible service and the completely disappointing service as taking 10% off the bill for me is like saying here since you ate about 6 percent of your plate I'm going to tack on 4 percent to make sure I still get my maditory tip for my crappy skill as a server and you can leave hungry still because I don't plan on fixing the food for you but your still going to pay for it....totally disgusted at her arrogance at trying to fix it for me ...and just brought me the bill with 10% off but didn't do anything to actually fix the issue ...terrible terrible problem here and as a franchise they should be ashamed and she should be fired for...

Honestly I don't even like to leave reviews anymore due to safety concerns about being human trafficked most my life... I know that God is king of Kings and My savior who has delivered me from the wicked.. so with that being said... I won't fear to leave Ms.Laurie a review, for her service surely deserves one.. she was attentive to me in a way that I didn't have to ask for anything. And she offered service that fit my gestures. With what I ordered, she asked would I like my doses brought out separately along with getting my drink upon sitting down. My refills were perfect timing and her genuine kindness,even being the end of her shift was a pleasure to be served by her.. all other staff members were also kind.. busy cleaning and working . Nice atmosphere and aurora. And I honestly can't even say that about really anywhere else I've been in Edmonton Alberta Canada. I was hoping I'd get the please of meeting any decent godly people before I left here... I've been here since July and until now, I haven't really liked anything about this place at all and I do not like Edmonton. It truly is as Awful as Key West Florida, But if you must come to this lawless forsaken city like I've had to. Stop in a Denny's and check out their food and service here. they work hard for their reviews.....
