First of all, the garbage at the drive thru entrance is all over the ground. You have to drive over it. Not a very clean location but the Morning drive thru customer service is intolerable! Rude! I was trying to ask why my total for 2 bagels was higher than the posted price on the menu board. I had 4-5 girls jump in at the window, all talking over each other and interrupting me every time I tried to get 3 words out. They were speaking amongst themselves in their Filipino language. I asked them to speak ENGLISH at the window, which just enticed them to continue doing it even more. The yelling at me, the rude attitude, the rolling of the eyes was so unbelievably unprofessional I don’t know how they still have customers! I told them I don’t need a group of 5 coming at me all at once. Just one person can answer my question if they would stop interrupting me and let me finish my question. The lady put her elbow on the counter, her chin in her hand and stared at her wrist as if to say I’m wasting her time. Once I paid, one of them shouted something in Filipino and they all looked at me at the same time and burst out laughing. I’ve never been so furious at a drive thru in my life. She was insufferable! I just want to discuss the experience when I was there on Saturday.I didn’t want to discuss but I can’t stop bcoz I am feeling so bad for that girl who was taking my order, I can’t remember her name but she may have trainee badge on her. She was really polite and helpful, even she got my order what I supposed to buy but at the same time I wanted to enquire about the brand name for the breads and she wasn’t sure about it and just wanted to double check with her colleague who was working just beside her ( the guy with glasses). She tried to ask him very politely but the guy shout on her as she asked him about his kidney. Read moreI decided to go inside Tim Hortons instead of the drive-thru, as I wanted to inquire about the Hockey Card promo. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The cashier brought my to-go order right to my table. I went back up to the counter, and one of the younger workers (who was leaving for the night), noticed I was walking towards the napkins and he immediately went and got some for me. He then saw me struggling to walk back to my table (due to health issues). I was preparing to leave the restaurant, and the same young gentleman offered to help me to my car. He carried my drinks and order to my car and placed them on the passenger seat as I'd asked him to. He would not accept a tip from me. He assured me it was his pleasure to help me. It was so nice to see someone go out of their way to help a customer in need, especially since he was off shift and could have just walked out the door. Kudos to Brendan!! I hope Tim Hortons Emerald Hills realizes how lucky they are to have a caring employee like Brendan working for them.
