Licks n Splits Ice Cream — Restaurant in Sicamous

During our trip back from Banff, we stayed in the charming town of Sicamous. Far from the hustle and bustle of downtown life, this small town offered a refreshing change of pace. Craving some ice cream, we discovered Licks n Splits and were greeted by a server with a big smile.

The server patiently explained the various ingredients in their banana split, making us feel welcomed and informed. We decided to order one, and it was absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight of our trip!

Cones are back. I repeat, Cones are Back!!! I have to say waiting in line outside is a great improvement to the undersized order area of years past. I do miss the wonderful rock display though. :P The patio is lined with beautiful planters to enjoy, umbrellas are set up for shade, the view is wonderful, the service is great and the treats are outstanding. There are a couple of picnic tables at this great central spot on main. Easy walk from the public dock / Moose Mulligans with 3yo+ children. You haven't tasted ice cream until you've tasted this ice-cream!! Made with real cream, this soft serve makes you wish there really was a separate stomach for desserts. There were a couple of sorbet options with lower sugar for those who need a yummy treat with less regret. For the rest of us, they have so many flavors to infuse into your ice-cream with a fun option to swirl your two favorite ones. Personally, I had an eggnog one and later enjoyed the pina colada and loved both. My husband couldn't get enough of their tiger while our girls enjoyed the cotton candy.
