OH MY GOD!!!! The food at this darling little Thai establishment is so good it’s hard to fathom how any other restaurant inside of 10km can stay open!! The food here is like an addictive drug, it is seriously that good!!! I am shocked there isn’t a Thai food addiction treatment facility next door!🤣.
This place is small and busy, if you need to wait don’t get frustrated you are in for a treat!!!
Aroy Maak Thai Cuisine is authentic and could very well be the best option without leaving the country!!!

Update: It has been roughly a year since my original review; I am happy to confirm I am even more impressed with this fine dining experience and have returned multiple times over this past year.
I have also learned the Aroy Maak Thai Cuisine is a family owned and operated business! 2 charming, intelligent, entrepreneurial sisters ( Haley & Samara) created this delicious creation with a sustainable “farm to plate” concept! They grow, harvest, and serve their fresh produce as well take extreme care when choosing what proteins are served.
One example that proves this; just order any dish with a shrimp or prawn and you will not just taste, you will see the difference! Every detail has been carefully selected and prepared with a keen eye, years of experience and care! Keep up the excellent...
Read moreI had an excellent experience here. I was at this location last Thursday.
We stopped in Sicamous on our way from Alberta, and it was quite late in the evening. We were hungry and my wife wasn't feeling too well. I found this restaurant and gave them a call and requested a takeout.
The lady (I wish I got her name) was extremely friendly. She took my order, gave me directions to the restaurant from our hotel and then even gave me directions to the closest Shell, so that we could pick up some Diet pops.
When I came to the store, she was really nice and friendly as well. She even asked me if I wife was feeling better. That made me feel like they truly care about their customers. The food was prepared, packed and given to us with care as well.
Since, we had an excellent experience and loved the food, when we returned to Sicamous on Monday, we were hoping to walk and grab dinner from here again, but they were closed. We will be back here again during our trip to Sicamous next...
Read moreThis is my first Thai restaurant experience and I waited before doing a review so I could try another to do a fair comparison as I probably would have gave a different rating due to the hour long wait plus I only enjoyed one of the two curries ordered.
Have to give a shout out to the exceptionally great service as they knew that I would be waiting a long time and started serving my drinks outside in the lobby area, first time ever in my life.
The one curry I enjoyed was really really good, didn't know a curry could taste that good plus they didn't charge for extra rice.
Looking forward to more Thai food experiences...
