If you want homemade, fresh cooked food at a reasonable price...look no further!

Don't let the outside of the building trick you, this diner is great! When I go to diners I am usually expecting things to be soggy, messy, deep-fried greasy and sub-par. But THIS WAS NOT THAT. The server (Angie) was friendly and knowledgeable about my questions. I was more impressed with the cook (Jimmy). Things were put together with perfection! No grease all over the plate, my sandwich was stacked and cut nicely and neatly. My husband's eggs were not brown and not underdone. I have worked in the restaurant industry for a LOOOONNNNGG time, and I have NEVER been impressed by a diner before.

A side note... the place was also SUPER CLEAN. No splatters on the walls, no cobwebs or dust. you could literally eat off of any surface in this place.

The breakfast is average, the coffee is good but I didn't like the overall cleanliness and quality of service. I ordered pancake, cheese omelet, fries and light rye toast with butter. The portion and price is fair but the toast came burned. I kindly asked the waitress to replace it with another one , instead of saying "sure, no problem : )" , she said with a frown "I can't promise the next one will be better". Bad response! They replaced it with a white toast, I didn't even order white toast, its not a big deal but they should always pay attention to the customers orders. I also want to mention the maple syrup container handles was extreemly sticky, It was so sticky I couldn't remove my hand once I grabbed it smh. The lemon slice in the water was old ,the cooks at the back didn't wear any hair nets , it's kind of disappointing 😳 So 3 star is...

This diner has very friendly and helpful staff. The food tastes great, and the prices are very reasonable. For $8.99 we received 3 eggs. 2 Slices of toast. A Selection of white, brown or rye bread. The rye bread was no extra charge. This was a nice treat on its own. Ham, Bacon or sausage. I selected bacon, and home-fries sliced as medallions, a refillable coffee, and a nice slice of orange that tasted sweet and accented the plate nicely.

Everything was cooked well, and nothing was overcooked or burnt from rushing the process. The french fries with were golden, crispy on the outside and soft (not dry) on the inside. The grilled cheese was nicely done as well, golden, no burning, buttered right to the edge (no dry spots), and no charring. We enjoyed the food and drinks very much.
