The food and coffee/drinks are on par with what you'd expect from Tim Hortons but as of late I find the quality of service has dramatically dropped off from where it was even a year and a half or two ago. During that time the business hasn't shown any signs or indications that management or even corporate headquarters has even attempted to even TRY and make improvements to the notoriously awful quality and speed of customer service/interactions. There are regularly excessive wait times when ordering in store and the employee is often less that the outgoing, courteous, polite and welcoming attitude that has become standard place in the service industry. I'm new to this Tim Hortons points thing and I'm told that I just need to scan my barcode at the cash when I go through so I went to the drive-thru today at 3:30 pm and ordered a roasted hazelnut cold brew in a box of 10 bits and I paid and went to give my points card and the girl at the window tells me I had to give the points card before paying and offered me no help or anything beyond that and I told her well she didn't ask and she said sorry and have a nice day and I think it's kind of stupid that they couldn't accept my points card after I paid or couldn't fix the situation so that I still got my points so it was a disappointing...

I've been taking a PSW course in Smiths Falls, and pick up another student early in the morning, around 6:30 -6:45...its a welcoming spot for us to enjoy coffee and tea, sometimes breakfast sanswich and muffins. We have even broke open our study books there. Doesn't matter which staff serves us, they are always friendly and fast considering how busy they get. I'm sure the morning crew knows us well now. Sometimes, we've even gone back after school in the afternoon. The storefront is always clean as well as the washroom. As our course is winding down this week, we will miss our cozy spot.
