Union Street Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Smiths Falls

When my wife and I have a craving for wings, or BLT... ,we order from here. Awesome wings USUALLY. We have been ordering from here since moving to smiths falls (about 5 years) Ordered wings tonight and a salad. Wings were so dry the meat pretty much splintered like bones. I don't know what happened but we where very disappointed and needless to say, I had a peanut butter sandwich for dinner tonight. Going to think twice before ordering from here again. Like I said, 1 time in 5 years BUT $40 bucks into the garbage and a peanut butter sandwich for dinner? New Cook? Bad day at work? Bad day at home? Thinking of quitting? Who knows? On a day trip to Smiths Falls and selected Union Street Bar & Grill for lunch, because of the many positive online reviews. Not disappointed! Food and service were superb. Typical pub food but quality and preparation was excellent. Our server was friendly, cheerful, attentive and super energetic. Exterior of restaurant is nothing special but don’t let that deter you from heading on in. Interior decor is warm and welcoming, clean and well cared for. Decor is music based and fun to look at. Just an aside, the Playlist is excellent. I strongly recommend a visit to this restaurant whether you are on a visit to Smiths Falls or just passing through. A pleasant surprise for a dive bar Atomsphere came out of their kitchen. I had a great bacon cheeseburger with a 20oz Canadian for only $13! My son opted for their 6oz sirloin special which included corn and exceptional mashed potatoes with cheese, bacon and onion. Oh and a great dessert! A raspberry crumble cake. For only $18.95

Our server was a gem! She rambled off all the specials and was super friendly, before, during and after our meal.

Don't let the vibe fool you here. This place has decent food, great service and fantastic value...
