I love carbs. Pizza may be the best form of food that carbs come in. I also love football and football can be watched here! After errands in Squamish we knew that we were not going to make it back to Whistler in time to catch the end of one of the football games we wanted to watch, so we popped in here and as our luck would have it, the entire bar area was empty!
Our server, Ashley, was super cool about getting our game on TV and she was really fast with service. The hubby and I have never been to one of these restaurants before. I've seen them all over the US but never bothered to try one before this past week. I got the Mediterranean Pizza ($13.59) and the hubby went with BBQ Chicken ($12.99). Both were amazing! So amazing, that we were saying that it may be some of the best pizza that we've had in a while. The Mediterranean is a great option for those that are vegetarian.
I'm not sure of what all of the gripping is on here, about service etc. We had no problems, everyone was very polite, helped us get our game on one of the TV's, service was fast, and the food was very good. Ya'll should try living in the Caribbean, now that is where you find expensive stellar one and two star rude service. This is a...
Read moreWe had a family dinner last night at Boston Pizza and wanted to share some feedback as Squamish needs good family restaurants and Boston Pizza needs to improve.
My kid complained his pizza, from the kid menus was spicy, and then pointed to a small piece of a green pepper. I ate it to realize it is a Jalapeño! Grr, but not wanting to cause a fuss suggested it was an accident. However a slice later he complained again and another pepper was found. Looks like they used a knife just used to cut hot peppers to cut a kids pizza. Not cool. The option was a new meal but by that time he was traumatized and didn’t want to eat, resulting in us making a dinner for him when we got home.
My main definitely didn’t look like the menu’s photo and flavour-wise, disappointing. Menu sure makes the food look good though.
On the service side, I don’t want to fault the individual over management. They were bartender, server, busser and were underwater and seemingly without experience in restaurants before was struggling to balance effectively.
Ambiance was fine, they had recently renovated making it more welcoming and less run down.
Please do better, Squamish needs family...
Read moreMy recent visit to Boston Pizza left me disappointed due to a billing error and the subsequent customer service. Despite clearly mentioning in advance that I intended to use two free kids meal cards and a free dessert card, the mistake was made on the bill. When I brought this to their attention, the manager offered a $25 gift card as a resolution, even though the original amount to be refunded exceeded $30. This left me feeling as though they were trying to downplay the situation and not fully address their error. What further compounded my frustration was that they still couldn't calculate the correct refund amount, even after a prolonged wait. What bothered me even more was the lack of understanding and empathy from the staff, especially considering that we are foreigners. It felt as though they were not concerned about our satisfaction, and I can't help but wonder if our status as infrequent customers influenced their response. I believe that a more customer-centric approach, where they promptly rectify billing errors, calculate refunds accurately, and treat all patrons with respect, is crucial to improving the overall...
