I was happy with my meal although I could have eaten a bit more. Hungry big eaters are going to need to order more here. Ordered the Tuna Poke bowl. Tea is free and you serve yourself. A bit of a cafeteria style eatery where you order first but they bring your food to you if you are sitting at a table for dining in. Not a date night location, it is a no frills restaurant. It was just what I needed being by myself and wanting a mid point stop and dinner on my way back driving from Whistler to Vancouver. I would likely stop here again in the future if I am in a mood for sushi.

We stopped by this shop on the way to Whistler from Vancouver near around the lunch time. There were a lot of the guest who wants to take out as wrapping and wait for their orders in the tables. The associated sushi and shrimp tempura which we ordered were not bad but not extremely fresh. And the salad was good with the fresh and sweet source in it. Hot tea was served just free myself. It is worth to visit once.

I enjoyed the sushi 😀 but the pulled pork donburi was made with very sweet teriyaki and the gyoza deep fried instead of pan fried 😐. There's nothing in the interior decoration that says this is a Japanese restaurant. You also have to stand up by the cashier to place your order, sanitize your seat and table before and after eating and bus your table at the end. Why would you put some money on the tip jar? 😐

This location is the mother ship to the Samurai Sushi chain on Sea to Sky. In terms of food quality and options this one is the best and they serve yummy free hot tea which is nice to have when it's cold outside.

They recently sold the two that are in Whistler and have held onto this location. Every time we come here and need something quick and relatively healthy we come here. Service has also been awesome and fast. For around $20 for two you can get yourself a pretty hearty meal and for some reason the miso soup that you get with the samurai special tastes better here than at the two other locations in Whistler.

My personal favs are not sushi but is the Tempura Udon (you get four huge pieces of tempura and a large bowl of udon) as well as whatever is on as the Samurai Special. They recently added this delicious pulled pork to the menu which brought back memories of Hawaii and local plate lunches I've had growing up. If you are undecided, get a Samurai Special, it always comes with a ton of edamame, miso soup, one sushi roll, some type of meat on a bed of rice and chicken karaage or dumplings. You really can't go wrong with this for $11 and you will leave full.

They do serve beer and wine here if you stop by for dinner and they have the fun stuff too like Japanese soda. Seating can be a challenge if they are busy and I've always seen them busy, so you may have to wait a bit to find a seat or have one person snag a table while the other goes to the...

I was really disappointed with my experience here. The prices are way too high for what you get, and the service was surprisingly bad. The server, a Caucasian girl, was extremely unfriendly and completely expressionless the entire time. On top of that, I ordered a miso soup and was shocked at how tiny it was – just a small amount of broth with only one piece of tofu floating in it. Having lived in Vancouver for years and visited countless sushi restaurants, I’ve never experienced service and quality this poor. Definitely not a place I’d recommend...
