Wendy's — Restaurant in St. Albert

Went to the Wendy's with my family we asked for our food to be made fresh. We didn't care how long it took. We didn't mind waiting after receiving our food half of the order wasn't fresh. They also messed up on my burger. She told us to go sit down she'll bring us our drinks, After we started eating still no drinks then she called us to the counter. I went to go get our drinks Were Flat and watered down I took the drinks back and asked for different kinds. Went back to go eat. My family was already done eating. We never had any drinks The whole time we were eating when I told her that it's ridiculous. We didn't have drinks to eat She said our machine is giving us problems. Maybe you should've told us that before we ordered our food and waited and then waited for you to mess up our food. Not to mention the fact, they're all playing loud music on their phones in the back. Unbelievable experience at Wendy's. Will never eat at this location again I do not...

Getting frustrated with location close to me. My favourite is spicy chicken sandwich provided it hasn't been sitting in warmer too long and dried out. So I ask first and if not recent made, I ask for fresh and wait for it. Last time I asked at the drive through and they were not forthright and the chicken was old and dry. This time I was in store and asked to question. Young man says yup fresh before checking so I agreed and took the chance. Well turns out he was wrong and too lazy to check. Not only was the chicken way over cooked and dried out, I ordered a spicy chicken wrap to go for my wife and the tortilla was so dried out it literally fell apart while she ate it. Big sign on the wall claiming the freshness of their food signed by Dave Thomas yet the staff really doesn't care. Not even a apology. The food here used to be really good and predictable. The food was less than decent,the service was odd, we walked in and were ignored, they swept the floors and didn’t say a word to us. We had to wave someone from the back, burgers were cold, then we also noticed we got totally different burgers than what we ordered 😂 they told us to sit and they will bring our drinks, we waited and waited and had to go grab them ourselves, the drinks tasted like water for some reason, the iced tea looked like dirty water and was tasteless so we decided on something else. Waited again and they either forgot or just didn’t get the drinks, we ultimately decided to just finish the fries and leave. It was extremely bizarre, seems nobody there enjoys people or their jobs.
