After a very long, physically and emotionally exhausting day yesterday our family joined together after leaving our Father/Husband/Brother/Uncle and Friend for the very last time to share a meal. We had a reservation for 48 people and were informed the private room only held 35 but the extras could be seating elsewhere with the restaurant, so long as the immediate family could be together that was acceptable and welcomed. When we arrived the story was now different and we couldn’t utilize the tables outside of the room and we couldn’t take up the EMPTY tables, there was no line up, there were in fact many tables available to accommodate the overflow. We tried to make it work, I, in fact was sent inside as immediate family to a table of four and there were five of us so I ended up standing. I wasn’t allowed to sit outside the room and would’ve had to stand to eat my meal after leaving my Fathers funeral.
The waitress whose name I never caught argued with family about them taking up space outside of the room even though remember we said 48 people would be coming. She was eventually asked to step away from the table which she refused to do until a scene transpired and informed family ever so politely that basically it was too bad and she lost her own Mother three weeks ago and that just because we came from a funeral it didn’t give us the right to take over their restaurant.
WE WERE PAYING CUSTOMERS, WE WERE NOT GETTING A DISCOUNT!! WE WERE ALL EATING.
Family was seated directly outside of the room and my Step-Mother was informed she couldn’t sit there with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren to which she promptly informed us all that she was tired and was going home.
My Brother tried talking to other staff members present and even still it wasn’t going in a positive direction and STILL they were not accommodating our group of 48, as originally planned. Had they been up front with their shortcomings we would have found another place
I personally had enough, there was no way that I could stay and support this business and collectively we all agreed and we were able to find another great restaurant that opened up their side room and hosted us so graciously. They were unprepared for such a large group but they rocked it with one server busting her behind to make sure we were all taken care of.
Hats off and kudos to Jo...
Read moreService from our waitresses was perfectly fine no issues there. But the manager with the short blond hair was an absolute joke. To begin with she started with our table by giving us attitude after we asked to split the bill (not a difficult situation) and then when it was done incorrectly we calmly and nicely told them and they gladly switched it but we ended up still having a small issue with the bills and asked to fix it correctly. The manager came over and was extremely rude telling us that the bill must be paid regardless but we never refused to pay for anything, then she threatened us by saying “this is going to be your last time”. I told her I didn’t like her attitude and the way she was speaking to us at all, and she continued to tell me to stop speaking and threw the debit machine on the table towards me and then again at my friend. She came to our table with attitude and continuously gave me dirty looks, refused to listen to us try and explain what was going on.
I’ve never had an issue with this restaurant but tonight was the worst customer service i’ve ever received, especially from a manager. That is no way to speak to your paying customers who’ve done...
Read moreTried this restaurant for the 1st time after it came recommended by a co-worker, and I was nothing but disappointed!
Ordered French Onion soup to start. Grilled cheese sandwich on white bread with a side garden salad. r Ranch dressing for my salad.
My husband ordered 3 potato skins to start. Then beef on a bun with fries and gravy. Side of mayo for the fries as his main!
My French Onion soup was returned! It was so salty that it was not edible by any means.
The potato skins were cold; like they were sitting for a while before they came out to us.
His fries were cold, too! My salad had more brown lettuce than I would deem acceptable to serve someone, and the tomatoes in my salad were all mushy!
This establishment does not take pride in what they serve their customers and considering that I chose this place as my "treat night out", I'm now at home making myself something else to eat because I am still hungry and out $55.00
I will NEVER return nor recommend this...
