Dalhousie Yacht Club – Honest Reviewhe food was unreal — absolutely delicious and well-executed. The scenery is beautiful, and it's a great setting for a summer evening out.

That said, the service left something to be desired. It wasn’t the fault of the waitstaff or kitchen — it was clear they were new and doing their best. The issue seemed to be a lack of senior oversight. Having a more experienced manager on the floor would’ve made a big difference in how things flowed.

One odd thing: we weren’t allowed to put up the umbrella at our table, and when I asked if we could remove it so I could see the rest of our party, I was told no. Still not sure why.

This year the harbour waterfront patio, should be a great place for a casual diner, and fantastic sunsets. Food good, beer cold, service fantastic, and you can watch all the boating activity coming in and out of the harbour. This patio is on the east side, where you are able to watch a wonderful sunset. INSIDE casual dining now, really enjoyed their turkey Christmas diner and Easter diners inside, and the outside patio will soon be open to the public for outside patio dining and a refreshing drink. Honestly, I was surprised at the docking services for this place. We purchased transient docking from the fuel pump office for the weekend, and they are constantly available to shuttle you back and forth over to the dock at the drop of a hat. No charge, as much as you need. It made the weekend really enjoyable for us knowing that we didn't have to pay and fight for parking on the other side every day and could just call to get picked up or whatever we needed.
