Worst customer service experience I've had in years. And I have been in retail for over a decade so I'm pretty understanding of customer service workers.
I was ordering for co-workers, 2 of the $5 snackwhich meals with the potato rings, and a bag of chips. Went to work to give them their food and there was only 1 bag of the potatoes, so I go to check my receipt and I never got one. So I run back and say "Sorry I think you only gave me one bag of the potatoes and I didn't get a receipt.". She said they were in one bag...And I said "...but they are separate orders, for different people...". And she just looked at me. And I said "well okay can I have an extra bag so they can split it?" Which she gave me. Then gave me my receipt and I went back to my car, only to notice I got the wrong receipt. So I go again, and get the correct one.
As I'm looking, I notice it looked higher than I was prepared for. Prior to going, I was going to place an online order for pick up, but decided I didn't want to use my credit card. But when I put one of the combos in, it was cheaper than what was on. So I double checked, and the chips when ordering online are only $1.59, but I was charged over $2.00 for each. So again, since this is for someone else who is paying, I go in and say I believe I was overcharged for the chips. And she very rudely told me that "That is what we charge for in-store". So I asked "If I were to return everything, then order online for pick-up, thats the price I would get?", for her to reply "Go ahead if you want". So so so rude.
I don't care about the extra dollar or whatever. I understand that the difference in price in-store vs. online isn't her choice, it's Subway itself (which I find to be really stupid, but thats another convo).
At the end of the day, for a couple of mistakes that were made (that I was very polite about), I got treated like I was the inconvenience, like I didn't waist 15 minutes of MY lunch break. This location used to be fantastic, I will not...
Read moreI went to this St. Catharines location on Lakeport Rd. at 5:30 Friday Aug. 28th to get get subs for my family. The girl behind the counter walked out, did not have a mask on, did not wash her hands in front of me, proceeded to pull out sub paper and ask me what I wanted. I asked if she was going to put on a mask before preparing my food, and I was told she couldn't wear one due to a health condition. She was literally breathing all over the open food bins, then coughed and didn't even cover her mouth. I will NEVER go to another subway ever again. I left and took my business to Joe Fetas down the street instead. If a food preparer can't be responsible enough to wear a mask during a pandemic, and can't cover her mouth when she sneezes or coughs, health condition or not, that employee needs to find a different job. COMPLETELY UNSANITARY!...
