Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in St. Catharines

I've been here a lot and, while service is usually rather slow.. today was potentially the worst in terms of both slowness and service.

There were 4 ladies working. At the time of us coming in, only one customer was being served, and it was for take-home ice cream. There was only 4 of us.

One of the ladies stood with her back to us, apparently diligently making waffle coned. The lady helping the gentleman with his take home spent along time trying to find proper containers for what he wanted. All of the staff seemed busily consumed in other tasks besides helping their waiting customers.

After 2 minutes, one lady finally addressed my fiance...then struggled to get his fruit into his ice cream because she had to awkwardly move her way around the lady still struggling to fill out the first gentleman's take home ice cream containers.

The entire process took so long that my partner's ice cream was dripping all over the desk and continued to melt while he hastily licked it.

My order went smoothly and everything was seemingly fine.

Then they got to my friends who had a Sundae coupon and basically ignored it while serving them regular ice creams. While they attempted to point this out, they felt ignored and not really listened to.

At the till, they became confused and actually ended up charging my friends more for regular cones; which, because the ladies at the cash seemed so confused, had made their order take 5 minutes. So my friends, being nice and not wanting to confuse them more, allowed themselves to be charged more.

It's possible there were a lot of new staff and maybe that's why they were so confused and disorganized.

In-Person: We visited in person to Marble Slab after ordering through Uber Eats (see below). We were astonished to see how many different options they had as well as the endless possibilities you could make. Ordering online was nothing like this.

They have multiple dipped cones with toppings on them. We both tried the white chocolate cone with Oreo pieces. We tried different ice creams and loved that you could watch the staff as they mixed all of your desired toppings in.

I highly recommend going in person at least once to experience this. A great date idea!

Ordering: We ordered from Marble Slab at 9:55pm and had our order delivered by 10:15pm. They were super quick, allowing the Uber to pick it up and head on his way in a short amount of time.

We tried out the single serving (double chocolate) with brownies, Reece's cups, cookie dough, and rainbow sprinkles. I thought they would just put them on top but instead they mixed them in. They included massive pieces of brownie, cookie dough, and large Reece's cups. I didn't expect there to be so much but was so happy with the result.

We also ordered a Red Velvet Ice Cream sandwich. It was great - didn't cause much of a mess and definitely worth ordering again.

Nothing was melted when it arrived and the quick turn-around time meant that we could enjoy ice cream at...

I am so dissapointed marble slab is my favorite ice cream but unfortunately I went on monday victoria day one of the workers she have multiple tattos on the arm just to make reference she was attending everyone with bad attitude she get mad for a single question she answer bad it was soooo rude is very dissapointing for one worker the business can loss many customers with the behaviour of this girl to be honest I am so surprise because all the people work there are very nice answer your questions with knowledge but this girl attends everyone witb bad very bad attitude the other girls were prepaaring milkshakes and helping her but even her attitude towards them was mean , we ask for milkshake she get mad prepared bad also I order vanilla waffle cone she gave to me in a cest she did not give me in the hand just throw it i am so dissapointed thanks I did not bring my little one because it would be a very bad experience for him too Also she yells at me once I was going to paid and I ask for caa she yells and says We donnnt receive it anymore like wow not just with me with all customers were in the line that day ot was afternoon I hope the company fixed this errors as can cost loss for...
