Shawarma Hut Plus — Restaurant in St. Catharines

When Shawarma Hut closed to renovate and open there new location I experienced absolute withdrawl! At that time, I tried every other "Shawarma" location in town, beyond desperate to find an even half-decent comparison to their taste & quality. Not a single restaurant came even remotely close to being half as great as Shawarma Hut in their overall taste & quality of dish. Shawarma Hut cosistently delivers perfection in each of their dishes to each customer and offers a warm, welcoming, resturant atmosphere with a modern touch and well maintained, comfortable seating. Without doubt, they set the bar for the industry with the emaculate, absolutely spotless, standard of cleanliness they uphold in their establishment both behind the counter and in the diner available for the comfort and convenience of their clientele. The menu offers a variety of different meats (chicken, beef, gyro etc), falafel, wraps, plates, desserts, beverages, etc! All at a very fair, affordable price point! My favourite thing about Shawarma Hut is their very unique, silky smooth Garlic Sauce that has the perfect taste and texture to compliment the dish of your choice. Delivery is also an option and available for a fee for those who would like to enjoy Shawarma Hut's unmatched flavour from home or for those who cannot travel to the resturant to dine in person. An honest review from a local customer of 5+ years!

Let me start off with this: The 1 star reviews you see below are (in my opinion) completely unwarranted. Please ignore them and don't waste your money at Zam Zam Shawarma across the street or Villa Madina in the Pen Centre. Go to Shawarma Hut Plus because it's the best tasting Shawarma around! Mohammed is also very polite and super nice!

I have eaten Shawarma in Hamilton, Toronto, and other places in St. Catharines in the past and Mohammed really knows how to make the BEST shawarma. I was a customer from his old location, and this new location is freshly renovated with brand new tables and chairs and new cooking equipment. Everything is super neat and clean. I can't and will not eat Shawarma anywhere else!

I have had the following dishes: Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Chicken Shawarma Plate, Beef and Gyro plate, Falafel wrap and plate. All of them have been super delicious! The portions are big on the plates. The plates come with the meat of choice (or falafel if you do not eat meat), rice, salad and hummus/garlic sauce. The garlic sauce is AMAZING! The wraps are also stuffed very generously with lettuce, onions, pickled cabbage and turnips, pickles, hummus, garlic sauce, tahini and hot sauce. The wraps are super filling.

I bring all of my friends and relatives to Shawarma Hut and will continue to do so for...

When you are outside the kitchen you can't see what is happening behind the counter. You can't tell your number in our orders list!

When you step in and give your order, you may not be the only one who we are serving even if you are alone in the restaurent.

We receive a lot of pick ups and online orders through Skip the dishes, doordash and uber eats. Therefore, we are trained to give priority to the present costumers. So please don't feel offended if your wrap or plate is ready in 15 minutes in a look like empty tables !

We do our best to deliver your greatest experience in our place. We love your good reviews and this help us keep doing things better and better. Bad reviews can be of a great help if the client show a bit of understanding of how busy we can be to serve you all.
