We called tonight at 8:40 to see what time the place was open until, the young man who answered told us 9pm we said great we are on our way (we were already driving) be there in 10 minutes he said no problem we got there at 8:48 only to find the store lights all shut off and the open sign off we knocked and the young man told us sorry we are closed, he told us that the grill was already shut off and cleaned so he couldn’t make any subs! How disappointing annd frustrating! And for the grill to already be off and cleaned he certainly would have known when we called that he wouldn’t be making our order when we arrived! We called and he KNEW we were on our way! When we asked him why did you not tell us when we called that you had shut everything and we’re not going to be open and he said oh sorry I thought you were somebody else! Unacceptable! We at least deserved the respect of saying hey sorry we are closing a little early tonight so we didn’t waste our time...
Read moreAfter finally seeing they were open after many times of going to purchase only to see they were closed during business hours I finally got ahold of someone by phone to order (6:18 pm) I was put on hold, the phone was just put down so I could hear when they were done with their customer - 3 minute mark - I was left on hold for an additional 10 minutes. While I heard someone walking in the back ground no one came back to the phone. I decided to hang up and continued to try over 20 times to reach someone over the next hour - their phone went straight to voicemail. I even tried their messenger which someone looked at but I’m yet to get a response on. We ordered subs from Papa Vince instead which were amazing. It took me all of 3 minutes to place an order with them. Thanks for letting us down House of Subs but if your food is like your service maybe you did...

however, both times I have been very explicit about a dairy allergy, and both times it has been ignored and cheese added to the sub regardless.
the first time they added cheese even when it wasn't included on the item and dairy allergen was selected. we forgave them because it was easily removed and the same item just different toppings, however the second time we checked off dairy allergen and left a note on the order: the order came with melted cheese and was unsalvagable.
I could understand this mistake being made if there was no where to add allergy info, however the fact that this restaurant labels itself as allergen friendly on ubereats is ridiculous. I don't know if there is a way to revoke that status, because it sure...
