I started out last year wondering about this place. My wife and I would always talk about it, but we never ordered. We decided to take the plunge one day and got their Pad Thai. It was hands down the best Pad Thai I have ever eaten. They have a good lengthy menu, so we have worked around it a little bit and have yet to be disappointed. The wife and I agree, the Number 41 dish is amazing! We won’t go anywhere else for Thai. I can’t wait until the day Covid is gone, or non existent so they can open up Dine In! One word of advice. If you want to get food from here. Call when they open as they get slammed pretty quickly! Will be back time and time again! Thanks Le Cafe Siam Family for always making our experience the best it can be!
We went back again!
Tonight we were invited to Le Café Siam: Thai Cuisine for dine in! They open in about 2 weeks or so for dine in for anyone wondering. (I think James Issara just wanted some practice) His daughter was our lovely waitress as you’ll see in the pictures! (Posted with permission) Kept us smiling! We had planned to get out for our anniversary dinner for the last month or so, but had been super busy. Where to start? We started with Chicken Satay - Chicken Strips skewered and grilled, topped with a peanut sauce and served with a dipping tray. This was one of my wife’s favourite appetizers! The peanut sauce felt so fresh and inviting and really popped with flavour! Very enjoyable! Saltyish with a hint of sweet in my opinion. We also got Kai Tod - Small Chicken Wings deep fried with herbs and garlic! It came with a Thai sweet and hot sauce. The wings were crispy, and succulent and the dipping sauce paired very nicely with them! We would get both of them again! From there we moved to the main course and decided to branch out a bit. My wife got the Pra Rama Lhong Song (Rama in the River) - it was a Sweet and salty sauce with rice (rice scooped in) and Broccoli and peppers. I enjoyed it, but maybe found it a bit sweet. (We switched meals) My wife was eyeing my Pineapple Curry with Pork. She found it quite delicious and that’s why we both agreed to switch. I found it too sweet for me. It was still very good, all of it! James made our favourite for us to have/take home. The 41! Some even call it… the 21! 😆 Whoon Sen Pad Phong Karee - which in English translates to Deliciousness. Just kidding! It should though! We got it with Pork and Shrimp. Utterly amazing! James and Megan Issara came out with Dessert after! Donuts with a condensed milk and it was warm, light and paired perfectly with the Chai Tea which was served warm and I thought was utterly amazing! Sweet and warm in a cool night with window seats! What more could you ask for in a cozy shop that has been revamped? Beautiful floors, new table tops, decor showing the beautiful Thai heritage. 100/10! When you get a chance, don’t delay! Book those reservations. it’s about the only way you’ll get a spot! Let me tell you!...
Read moreThis place, is like home. I’ve gone to Le Café Siam: Thai Cuisine for over 15 years. I can’t say enough about it.
I’ve tried a lot of their dishes over that time - and I don’t think I can say one bad thing about the food, company, or staff. All of the books, history and stories. They have real items decorated all over the restaurant from Thailand.
We’re so lucky to have a place like Le Café Siam in St.Thomas - and I feel like there’s still a lot of people that need to experience the culinary abilities that go on in the kitchen. Feels like you’ve travelled across the world.
I’ve even gotten my wife now onto it, and she’s super picky — especially with different/unique dishes. One of her favourite dishes is glass noodle & yellow curry powder. She mostly orders it with an add on of shrimp. It’s her go to. She also likes the soups, and shrimp wraps.
And for myself, my most popular are Pad Thai, Soya-sauce & Chinese broccoli noodle, any of their curries, apps and soups. When I was younger we would always get Cashew Chicken, and coconut steamed rice.
I wish I had pictures from everything I’ve had. I usually dig right in and forget when it’s too late to even think about it.
Everything that they do, is done in house and authentic as it can possibly be, fresh daily And that’s really hard to find, especially for the price.
This place is truly a gem.
10/10.

Read moreFirst, I wish I had taken better pictures but when I smelled the food, I just couldn’t focus! Let’s start with the Coconut Rice, which is made perfectly with the right amount of stickiness and a hint of fresh coconut. The moment we opened the box, the fresh sweet smell of coconut burst into the air and filled the house. It was fluffy with the right amount of sweetness…just a savoury wonderland on its own. Second, let’s talk about the Pad Thai…boy am I glad that this is the second time I’ve ever had Pad Thai in my life and it was a heavenly experience! The peanuts are so fresh, they burst out too when you open the box! The aromas, the flavour, the onions, the noodles, down to the smallest detail was truly wonderful. I am not exaggerating! Last but absolutely not least and incredibly highly recommended and an absolute must try is the Kang Supparod Pineapple Curry…Oy Vey! Now I know for a fact that I have to travel to Thailand to try their food in person because this curry alone had a world of flavours that is far to amazing to be able to put in words. I could probably just eat that for the next 20 years and be the happiest person on earth. Great job! The hype is real, this is THE spot for Thai food in Southern Ontario. Highly recommended and I will 100% return to try every single thing on their...
