Sushi Taxi Stoneham — Restaurant in Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury

Not fresh! My wife and I have been enjoying Sushi Taxi for years. The original location in St-Romuald was our go to place for birthdays. We would order well over 100 pieces of “chef’s selection’ for our family and bring them home to enjoy. These were always fresh and always delicious! So, to our delight, a couple years ago a location opened up near Stoneham where my wife’s family has a chalet. Her mother-in-law had tried this location a couple times but kept saying that it wasn’t fresh; crispy bits soggy with time, rice hardened, tempura rolls cold, etc. She had always had a “chef’s choice”, so one can only assume these are just made too far in advance at this location. Well last night, while home for the holidays, my wife and I decided to give it a shot and order some “chef’s choice” and a few individually selected rolls to be sure. My mother in law was right. After an hour, my order was ready and these do not taste fresh at all. Certainly not what we were used to at the original location under the original owner, and certainly not worth the $70. If you can hold off on your sushi craving a little longer, I would avoid this location altogether. Three strikes now. If ever on the south side of the river, maybe check out their other location in St-Romuald, or better yet Sushi...

Vraiment la dernière fois…. Commande à 15:45 ramassage prévu 18:45 déjà que le délais minimum de 3 heures pour des maki folie en promo ( la succursale vous ne la pas appris à la dernière minute) on se présente à 18:45 et encore 40 minutes et plus à attendre .. vous avez perdu des commandes et des factures…. Service téléphonique qui laisse à désirer. Lors de la St-Valentin j’ai demandé d’avoir un 6 morceau au avocats pour ma fille qui ne mange pas de poissons et on m’a bêtement répondu que seul les plateau spéciaux étaient fait … je n’ai pas commender ce que j’aurais du faire ce soir avec le délais… je veux encourager les entreprises locales mais la c’est terminer… Seul la succursale de Stoneham est visé par mon commentaires.. je n’ai pas eu l’occasion d’aller à...

Wait was a bit long and sushi was raw-fish free. Kitchen staff sitting in dining room having their own meal on a break. Was delicious and filling and friendly staff. Medium to low expectations of a franchise...
