wandered into this shop because it looked so charming! (From Toronto, in Town for some work related things) and the foods were even better than I had expected! It must have been Patrick the owner who greeted me, very sweet. Bought some cookies and butter tarts to try and also a sausage roll. The tarts (walnut and pecan, got 1 of each) were very sweet but still delicious, without the bitter aftertaste some tarts have, definitely will buy again (but maybe eating just 1 a day) and Saussage Roll! Amazing! $1.50 each is a great deal and they taste awesome! the pastry is flakey and fresh, and the sausage is NOT the rubbery store-hot dog kind, it's the good meaty kind :) Very pleased and hope more people...
Read moreCookie bags are flawed. I left with a dozen cookies (date / coconut) and by the time I got to the light less then a block away, I was down to 10. By the time I got to Second street the bag was empty. Beware. Get more cookies then you think you need. I would attach a picture but they don't last.

[As for the person who reviewed and said it was not as fresh as the other bakery, that is a bold lie! The other bakery has frozen-thawed items that I am not sure even come from that store.
