King of the Pigs — Restaurant in Strathroy-Caradoc

I was disappointed by my meal. I was expecting a great dinner due to the images and the recent reviews of this "restaurant". My rice wasn't as good as I had hoped it would have been. My steak didn't taste seasoned but as if it was just tossed into the pan and then placed onto the platter. My date ordered the side ribs and they were burnt on the outside and extremely bland tasting on the inside inside. The hot sauce was the savior of the meal to even continue attempting to finish either meals.(large amount of hot sauce) The poutine and the appetizer of wings were the better part of the meal and that wasn't by much. The waitress/server was nice, however, I was not a fan of them sitting with their coworkers being loud across the diner from where we were. I had to call out 2-3 times before they heard me calling for the check. Overall, would not come again, and watch out for flies...

I went to this place by accident passing through Strathroy and there’s not enough stars to rate the customer service I received. The place was close already however the door was not locked and when I walked in, Sarah greeted me and apologized that they were closing. I mentioned that I just wanted a Bifone sandwich as I was hungry and missed my Portuguese food being from Toronto. She told me to wait and will talk to Clara to see if she can fire the grill back up knowing that I was very hungry. Needless to say, 20mins later I was enjoying my Bifone sandwich in the car. Thank you so much Sarah and Clara. Sandwich was great as it was prepared with pride and care. I ordered 2 by the way. Wish you all great success and customer satisfaction as it’s hard to come...

After birding most of the afternoon around Strathroy, we decided to have an early dinner before driving the 2 hours home. Upon googling, "Nearby restaurants," and reading the reviews, we made a decision. Right choice. Ashley greeted us immediately upon arrival and even suggested fine tuning our menu choices. She was correct. The 4 side rib dinner, ceasar salad accompanied with black olives, bread and bbq sauce followed by espresso, black coffee and finally lemon tarts made the evening. Quality food, reasonably priced and service. Include, a spacious, clean environment. All reasons why we will return whenever in the area, even if that means just passing on the 402 near lunch or...
