An absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and immediately noticed how immaculately clean the restaurant was. It’s rare to find a dining establishment where such care is taken not only in the dining area but also in the bathrooms, which were spotless and well-maintained—something that speaks volumes about their overall standards.

The food at Kitano Sushi was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish we ordered was prepared with precision, care, and evident passion. The sushi rolls were beautifully presented, and the fish was incredibly fresh—it practically melted in my mouth. Each bite was packed with flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were of the highest quality. We also tried some hot dishes, and they were equally impressive. The tempura was crispy and light, while the teriyaki dishes were seasoned to perfection.

One thing that stood out was how quickly our food arrived. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy during our visit, the kitchen staff worked efficiently without compromising on quality. It’s clear that Kitano Sushi operates like a well-oiled machine, with everyone playing their part to deliver a seamless dining experience.

As for the service, it was top-notch. The staff were incredibly attentive without being intrusive, always ensuring our drinks were topped up and that we had everything we needed. They took the time to explain the menu when we had questions and made thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. Their warm smiles and professional demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.

Beyond the exceptional food and service, the ambiance of the restaurant was very inviting. It had a clean, modern aesthetic with a cozy feel, making it perfect for both casual lunches and special dinners.

I was so happy to discover this amazing hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant when visiting Strathroy, for my son’s start at Western University. The hostess was kind and welcoming, and the chef’s skill and care made every dish outstanding. The sashimi and sushi were so fresh, and the tonkatsu, cheese balls, and shrimp tempura were an absolute perfection. Even my picky daughter enjoyed the variety of dishes! We were full but kept ordering because everything was so delicious. Having milk tea on the menu was a great bonus—we didn’t even need to go to a dessert shop.
