Prima Pizza & Chicken — Restaurant in Summerland

Great food quality, quick delivery and great pricing. This place was fast becoming our new favorite, almost a weekly routine.

Unfortunately unreliable. Just called in a Friday night order and 'Prima Pizza and Chicken' has sold out of chicken - on a Friday night.

So it's great food and a good price but you certainly can't plan on ordering from these people because they may well be sold out. So remember; always have a backup plan or better yet make this place your backup plan.

One week later.

We just tried to order again a week later on a Friday night at 6:30 "we're not doing chicken the oil's too dirty" I wonder about the people that ordered chicken yesterday how clean the oil was? Do these people need a visit from the health inspector? We just threw out the menu for this place it's completely unreliable and I'm not interested in eating dirty food cooked with dirty ingredients. Perhaps the owner of prima chicken & dirty oil should crank his chin upwards and look at the sign that says prima Pizza and CHICKEN.

I guess my $45 a week will go...

Usually a very good spot to get chicken in town. However, today when I ordered chicken and wedges I also ordered gravy, definitely makes the best side for the wedges. When the food got here I noticed there was no gravy. When I called back I was told “it’s ok we didn’t have it on the order so you weren’t charged for it”. I explained that I still wanted the gravy only to be told they were all out. I understand that people make mistakes, and that gravy is not a “main” item in the order, however, I’ve come to expect a bit more in the way of ownership and solutions from businesses when a client is clearly displeased. Went there to pick up some chicken for my parents who I take care of in Summerland and it was some of the best chicken I've ever eaten. I've had pizza from them before and they never fail to put a smile on my face. I highly recommend these guys! And that says a lot. I am very picky about my food.. Check them out! it's well worth it.
