Beamer's A1 Pizza — Restaurant in Summerside

I really wish I could leave a more positive review.

First the venu looks dirty, old, not fresh. Chairs and table are getting old and always look a little dirty even if they are not. Staff is not overly friendly to say the least.

Don't get me wrong, I like to support local pizza places instead of big national or multinational chains. But after 3 order, 2 of them were very disappointing:

First experience: Showed up, ordered and waited for my order. All ok.

Second experience: Ordered online, pizza arrived an hour and a half (1.5 hour or 90 minutes) later. I even had to call to see what was happening. Thankfully the lady at the door gave me a discount on the order.

Third order: I ordered online. Left a special note saying to have the pizza ready for pickup at 5h30pm (order was placed 1 hour earlier). I showed up at 5h25 but pizza was finally ready at 5h45. What was the point of ordering ahead of time?

After this, I will not be buying again, I am sorry. I wish you good luck with...

Have you ever had a donair from Jack's in Charlottetown? Do you find yourself in Summerside occasionally, late at night, nothing else open, desperate for a donair of that calibre? Boy howdy do I have good news for you - the donair is huge, delicious, cheaper than Jack's (maybe a bit sweeter on the sauce, so not quite as good), but for the five dollars less than a comparable donair from Charlottetown would cost you, absolutely a bargain.

My partner got garlic fingers, which I stole one of, and they seemed fine. They were garlic fingers. The bacon was real bacon, which I always appreciate.

My only complaint is that it seems the building was last updated in the early 80s, and even that has a certain charm to it. It's clean and well maintained, just...

My first time visiting and I was very impressed. Moved here from Ontario and was craving a deep-fried panzerotti. Called around every pizza place in town with panzerotti and everyone bakes theirs. The girl who answered the phone here said the same BUT offered to fry it for us anyway! Food was made exactly how we asked. Perfect experience. And if you’re the owner and you read this thank the young woman working tonight (Monday June 24) she just got you four new regular customers. She was great.
