Church's Chicken — Restaurant in Surrey

This is just an update to my last review which was quite a while ago now. I have decided after watching prices go up everywhere and restaurants being so expensive, that it is too expensive to eat this kind of food more than once or twice a year. The staff is great at this location the food is often reasonably good or even slightly better, however it is ridiculous for eight pieces of chicken and only a single side, they throw in a few lousy biscuits and expect us to spend the money. I will miss the happy smiles at this location, however clearly head office has decided their chicken is much better quality than I think it is they are trying to use this to their advantage. I do not expect head office to respond to this review as they have never responded in the past even when I gave good reviews. I have had enough of the overcharging and refuse to do this anymore. I will keep the money in my pocket, I hope the people reading this feel the same way and make a response. I thought I better edit this response, as I looked at the menu for Church's Chicken and had considered that I might purchase some, I was stop dead in my tracks when I realized that their prices had or seem to have gone up again, now they have a six piece meal for $23.00 which I'm sure is higher than it was before. I know many restaurants are starting to gouge us on the pricing unnecessarily and unfortunately as I had mentioned earlier in the above review, I'm not doing this anymore. Everyone knows that pricing is actually going down on everything except restaurants, restaurants are charging more than ever before and churches is one of the ones leaving the way. I'm willing to bet that if you do go to a restaurant whether churches or any other, you will find that the tips which have been like this for quite a while are on the screen when you go to pay and if you read the screen correctly you will see the tip comes after the taxes which means you're paying tips on top of taxes, we've been doing this for a long time and I'm going to keep talking about it. What happened to customer service. My daughter came in screaming because she slammed her hand in the car door. Got some ice.... in a bag... that's now dripping all over your floor as I sit with my kids eating out of a take out bag... I said we were eating in... so I'm not sure why we now look like pigs eating with no proper utencils. Usually customer service is very good and same with the food. Even get a few extra pieces. ..... well we have been here about 45 mins... and no one has asked us how my daughter is doing.... or if the food was ok... I'm also due to have my baby in 6 days and I'm really moody. I guess I just hold a high standard for people and services.... I won't be coming back to this location. The one on Fraser hwy and 150 area is much better. Ok so I was just about to leave and I wanted a glass of water and was refused a large cup. Terrible Experience - Blatant Deception

I ordered 6 pieces of chicken and specifically paid an extra $5 to have all thigh pieces. When I got home and opened the sealed box, I was shocked to find that they had given me 2 chicken legs and 4 thighs I had paid for.The employee at the counter clearly charged me the extra $5, but then completely cheated me by putting the wrong cuts of chicken in the box. This is unacceptable and a complete rip-off. I feel completely deceived and taken advantage of. The food quality was fine, but the dishonest and deceptive practices of this Church's Chicken location have completely ruined my experience.
