Donair Affair — Restaurant in Surrey

Today I visited this place for a chicken shawarma. I have had from here once last year. I am a very particular fan of middle eastern and and Indian food. Even though the first time I ate it (a treat by my brother) was not that great nor bad I wanted to try it once more. The lady who was serving was very helpful and smiling, I had a small issue at the time of payment. Other than the regular charges there was an additional charge of 25 cents added to my payment and I questioned it. the lady who was serving me very politely said it was a regular charge to every customer and offered me to talk to the owner. The owner came to the scene and he tried to convince me by saying all the places charge the same amount, but when I stated that other joints like the holy falafel and donair spot does not charge it he got aggravated and started swearing at me. I retaliated by saying you are a liar and is trying to cheat the customer of an extra quarter. I left the food there and left, he was keeping on swearing. I just wanted to bring this into other customers notice. I don't have any bad remarks against their food or their service but the owner if questioned starts yelling and surely will shout at you asking you to get out. Just for questioning the extra 25 cents being charged you get to hear middle eastern way of swearing ( I dont think he has any sense of belonging or know where he is) he didn't know that being brought up in the middle east I would understand a little bit of arabic and persian. I will surely go back to the place and try to reproduce the scenario and record all the things once again on my mobile. Absolutely rude and disrespectful customer service. Also very disgusting and terrible food handling, clearly the employees don't take food safe. There was a piece of chicken sticking out of my rice plate container and the employee pushed it back in with her un gloved, unwashed hand and then proceeded to touch money right after. I imagine they dont wash their hands in between as she did not do this before making my food. At any takeout place it is standard that they have 1 person on till 1 making food. I was so disgusted but was too hungry to throw my food out so I picked the top of it off that had the piece of chicken she touched. I didn't say anything because I didn't realize until after she touched the money how disgusting it is. They were also so rude. Any time you ask for any request they act like it's the end of the world. Charged me extra for a tiny scoop of tabouli instead of greek salad. So messed up because the Greek salad would actually cost MORE to make than tabouli. Then when I asked for a fork they gave me the dirtiest look as if I am asking for the world. Rolled their eyes. Are you kidding me. I am always polite to customer service reps and know how terrible it is when customers are rude. But this was absolutely distasteful and I don't normally write bad reviews but I felt I needed for these c*s. The food itself was okayish but not enough to warrant giving more...

Donair affair is the bomb. This location is good and also I have been to other locations as well and they all serve excellent food. I go there regularly and I love it. There's not much space to eat there and you can't get delivery as far as I'm concerned but besides that everything's good to go. There's lots of parking. It's a great location. right in the heart of walnut Grove where all the neighbors are welcoming and nice polite people. You can get your food fast and it's delicious. I usually get the super lamb down there which is double the meat and it's great. But they also have chicken and beef and they got other full dishes you can get with rice and Greek salad plus they give you drinks for cheap prices very affordable place to go eat and have your lunch or dinner or maybe even breakfast if that's your style but overall I like this place I like the location I would say to anybody to go eat there check it out for yourself let me know how it goes I almost guarantee that you're going to have a good pleasant meal and good environment and you'll go back again once you try it once delicious sauces I forgot to mention as well go check it out...
