Golden Panda Restaurant — Restaurant in Surrey

I called in to place a order for delivery. I was put on hold and could hear the cconversation she had with another customer. She was saying, The carpets are new but she hates coming into work to see these gross carpets! I am a brand new customer... She continues chatting for a good 5 minutes with the other customer. When she gets off that line realizes I have been waiting. She took my order and said 30-45 minutes for delivery. I called in at 5:29 pm. I waited til 6:20 pm and called in and she said my order hadnt left yet it hadnt gone out when the driver left. And tells me it has been sitting for at least 7 minutes. I then proceed to explain that I dont have a microwave and want my food hot. I called ten minutes later and she put me on hold....saying to some lady in the backround, " there could be such a thing as traffic! Saying it loud for me to hear everything. Then she proceeds to tell this lady at the restraunt that I cant get her fired...as if she can get free food!!!! I couldnt believe my ears. She put me on hold and doesnt give me a chance to express my concerns or to even listen to what I might say. I couldn't believe my ears!! This was my first time ordering here upon recommendation from my neighbor. What a terrible place!!

I was insulted and treated with the utmost disrespect!! I will get the word out to my friend/s and will NEVER ORDER...

I have been ordering from here for about a year or maybe a bit longer. Up until this past Friday everything has always been awesome and delicious. We ordered and were told delivery will be 90 minutes I thought perfect as I was going to ask for that delivery time anyways. Unfortunately they only had one delivery driver and I am guessing we were one of his final deliveries on his current run, most of the food was not even warm. The only thing that was warm was the won ton soup. I hate to leave a bad review for such a good restaurant so I did give it 4 stars but if they say delivery will be more than an hour I would go elsewhere for whatever you are ordering. I will order from here again, hoping it was just a one time issue with the delivery.

Since that last review, I have to add that the quality of the food has really gone downhill over the past few months. They must have changed cooks or there is a new one in the kitchen. The quality is nowhere near what it was a year ago!!! Thus the change to 2 stars now.

When you order for a later time, they don't care and just want to get the order out the door. Plus, the delivery driver tried to round up the bill when I already added a tip into the order.

Hard to trust a business that doesn't care about...

I went to eat here today as I was passing by and hungry. The restaurant was empty. No air conditioning in this heat.

The server/ hostess was nice. I ordered the chow mein and chicken wings.

The chicken wings were starting to spoil. After two bites into the wings, they tasted sour. I tried to call the server several times over but she was busy with her head down, I'm assuming on her phone at the counter or something else. I waited 15 mind but she didn't take notice. There one noone else in the whole restaurant. I was the only customer.

When I finally informed her she took it back. They didn't not make or did they offer to change my bill to take off the wings. They gave me four wings, I returned 3 and 3 quarters of wings to them and yet they made no effort to do the right thing. Eitheray, I thanked them for the meal politely, paid the bill, left a tip and walked out.

I acknowledged and understand that mistakes happen. And that's fine, but it's sad they didn't attempt to rectify the situation.

They would have to pay me significantly for me to return and I would still worry about...
