They have a buffet for 13.99 PP. For veg starters, they had paneer samosa, manchurian, and noodles. The samosa could have tasted better. They had tandoori chicken for Non Veg. Main course they had rajma, kadhai paneer, kadhi pakora and Rice. As a Non Veg option, they had butter chicken and lamb. The butter roti was good, but the garlic Naan tasted uncooked. We felt that the place could have been much cleaner as there were a few flies around the food. The dishes were not so clean as well. We also had Lassi, which tasted good but was at an additional charge. The biggest health and safety issue was that the food at the buffet was not labeled accurately. The labels for the vegetarian and Non vegetarian dishes were mixed up. We had to ask the server to clarify which dishes were vegetarian. This is a huge concern for people with allergies and religious restrictions. Oke of our guests ended up eating a non vegetarian dish accidentally, breaking religious restrictions because the dish was mislabeled.

I am extremely disappointed with the Tandoori Chicken I ordered from Tikka Shikka through UberEats. The moment I opened the package, there was a very strong and unpleasant smell that instantly put me off. It didn’t smell fresh at all, almost like it had been sitting around for a long time or was made with spoiled ingredients. The taste was even worse — instead of the rich, smoky, and flavorful tandoori I was expecting, it had a strange, stale flavor that made it nearly impossible to eat. The spices were off, the texture was dry yet oily at the same time, and there was absolutely no freshness to it. It felt like the chicken had been reheated multiple times instead of being freshly cooked. Overall, this was one of the worst tandoori chicken experiences I’ve had. The smell was unbearable, the taste was bad, and the quality was far below any acceptable standard. I could not finish my meal and feel like I completely wasted my money. Definitely not ordering from here again.

I come here almost every weekend for their North Indian lunch buffet happening between 11:30 am to 3:30 pm on Saturdays & Sundays. The buffet costs ~13.5$ per head. It comprises of some vegetarian starters like potato tikki, samosas, manchurian veg; non vegetarian starters like chicken tandoor, fish fries (there’s a change in menu items occasionally). The main course has a good number of vegetarian dishes like daal fry/ daal makhani, rice, kadi masala, paneer curry (items change every week) and non vegetarian dishes like chicken biryani, goat curry, chicken masala etc. Naans are served fresh on the table, and there are salads, warm chai (tea), gulab jamuns as well. The food is good and priced very reasonably compared to other places in the lower Mainland/ Surrey area. The dining experience is a good value for money, and has decent quality. Service is good. Dessert options are limited. Edit (May 2024) food quality and number of items have drastically degraded 😟

On Saturday January 25th @ around 8pm I ordered takeout from here. I placed an order for 2 manchurian chicken chowmein and 1 manchurian chicken and a mangolian chicken and I requested it to be medium to hot spice level. When my family and I where eating this it was really awful, the noodles had no taste at all and it was really dark in colour. The manchurian chicken had no taste at all and the mangolian chicken was the worst thing ever. I recommend not getting that. It had this really strong awful taste I cant describe it it was almost sour/vinegary. I called the restaurant to complain about the order and the female receptionist apologized stating that they have a big party and that the kitchen is busy with that. I had told her that we are customers too and that the kitchen shouldn't focus on the party only because we paid almost 50$ for the food we got and it's not right to ignore other customers for a party. She spoke with her kitchen staff and she told me she would have the owner call me tomorrow (sunday) morning and I gave her my name and phone number. Sunday morning I recieved no call and it was around 3 to 4 pm that I called again asking to speak with the owner. I was told that they wont be in till 6pm and it was the same lady I spoke with last night, I again had given my name and phone. It is almost 8 pm and no call yet. This has been the worst customer service for what I have experienced. I believe the owners have changed and they dont take there reviews seriously. I use to love this place and prior to mezbaan opening it use to be Red hot chili pepper house and then chilli pepper house now mezbaan. If you want your money's worth of food I recommend going to another place. I'm still going to follow up with the owner....

One of the worst places in the lower mainland. Bunch of idiot people running the place including the owner "TJ" who doesnt even know the C of customer service. Ordered food last week on Friday on my birthday party for friends coming over from Vancouver. Friends were so excited and I told them that you will love the indo chinese food as I was a regular customer of this place. Expectations were so high but when we started eating the food chilli chicken was so sour and so eas the manchurian gravy, manchurian balls were so hard that we had cuts in our tooth gums. I wanted to return the food same night but by that tine place was closed. It was a full embarrasment in front of my friends.

Next day when I called and spoke to the owner "TJ" to just give my feedback, he listened and said something might have went wrong with the food, give him time till evening to investigate and will give me a call. I clearly told him that I just wanted to give my feedback and I am not looking for any compensation. Dint received a call for next 2 days. When I called them, their so called Indian manager who doesnt even know how to talk, instead of showing empathy, told me what kind of favour do I need as "TJ" was busy.

As a regular customers, we are doing favour to you by giving business. Guys dont spend your hard earned on worst food and worst...

Ordered takeout at 230 online. Comfirmed and told 30 minutes . Wife showed up at 3 and told 5-7 minutes. She waited there until 335. I think they just didnt bother to make our order until she arrived to pick it up.Nothing offered for problem. Some places will knock a couple bucks off or throw something small in extra not even a sincere apology

Spicy chili garlic dumplings. Way too much of a thick bland sauce that had next to no flavour and dumplings were doughy. 4 out of 10

Veg samosas were alright and tamarind sauce was good. 8 out of 10

Szechuan chicken dish looked nice but was very bland and sauce was hot but chicken was cold. I think they just throw cold pre cooked chicken in sauce. 4 out of 10

Now the rice.... what the hell. It was hard, cold and it wasnt cooked properly. Rice should not crack when you bite it. This is unforgivable for an Indian / Chinese restaurant 0 out of 10.

I really wanted to like this place as its literally a 15 second walk from me but a real long wait when they are not busy and underwhelming poorly cooked bland dishes make it so id propably not go back. There is much better options.

Food was spicy just not...
