Got some yummy treats from New Town Bakery today! We like to get the following items:
Steam Buns (Baos) with BBQ Pork (Siopao), Chicken & Beef fillings. These buns are freshly made everyday & they are pillows of soft dough wrapped around delicious savoury fillings. Great for any meal or even a snack, especially when one the go.
Fried Pork Dumplings (haam sui gok) or little Footballs . This is one of our must haves at dim sum. While the ones here aren't as good because they are very greasy, they are quite large & will do in a pinch.
Plain Doughnuts are fluffy balls of goodness! They are so light & tender, although they are quite large it's really easy to eat one....even two.
Coconut Buns (Chinese Cocktail Buns). How can you go wrong with these? Soft buns with a creamy coconut filling, it's a great snack with tea or coffee!
Glutinous Rice Balls with Red Bean Paste. I love this treat for the chewy texture on the outside & creamy slightly sweet texture on the inside.
Buttercream Horn. This treat is flaky & crispy on the outside with a nice luxurious cream on the inside.
Just beware they are closed Wednesdays & they are cash...

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their famous BBQ pork buns—soft, fluffy, and bursting with flavor. I also indulged in their delectable steamed dumplings, which were perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh. The crispy spring rolls were a fantastic appetizer, with just the right amount of crunch.
Don’t miss out on their incredible pastries, either! The egg tarts are a must-try; they’re creamy, sweet, and the crust is just divine.
While parking can be a bit tricky during rush hours, it’s absolutely worth it for the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend New Town Bakery and Restaurant to everyone looking for a delightful...

DINE IN Service 4/5 (tea was refilled), server brought us extra bowls and a serving spoon coz that was missing Flavours 4/5 Speed of Food coming to the table 5/5

TAKE OUT (not pictured) Ordered bola-bola (pork ball with egg and Chinese BBQ) and asado (pork) steamed buns; an egg pie; coconut bread. All these bakery goodies were amazing and the...
