Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Surrey

The chicken here is bomb. I don't know what else to say lol. I'm so full right now 🤣. This location is cool it's a little bit out of surrey and it doesn't have the long lineups that the other locations do hence the great customer service. Personally I don't live in fraser heights but I'm darn sure the people living in the surrounding areas find this to be a really special key place to have in their neighborhood like a small gem as it does bring in lots of people from outside of the area so for places like the grocery store nesters nearby the gas station across the street all the way to the insurance shop you can see while parked in your car eating benefit from having this Popeyes. So good job and great for you securing and successfully running this location. My hats go off to you Mr owner. I will definitely drive the extra 10 minutes to come to you're clean and brand new restaurant for the delicious food and 5* service. Just please do not let it get outdated and unmaintained like many of the old kfc restaurants. I think that's why they are going down. They just aren't keeping up with what's new and refreshing their sales and advertising tactics. Also I'm lactose intolerant so it's great to see the staff respectful enough to not add butter on my bun or give me butter biscuits. Not much else to say here. Give them a try fellow...

This location opened strong and cooked the food properly but as time has been going on the food has been getting worse and on my last visit the entire meal was disgusting. I had the larger size chicken fingers and mashed potatoes with gravy and an apple pie and every single one of them was inferior compared to when this place first opened. The chicken strips were dry and cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for hours and on top of that the oil tastes like it's getting old and hasn't been changed in the fryer. The mashed potatoes were okay but they literally didn't put any gravy on them so that was ruined as well. Then the apple pie was so tough and dry on the outside. This is really bad and I've never had food from Popeyes this bad at any other location and certainly not from the states. If this keeps up in word keeps spreading in Fraser Heights here this place will be out of business soon. On top of that I contacted their head office and they don't even bother to respond. I don't think I'll ever be going back unless...

Mediocre service. I stood at the counter for 2 minutes while several employees including what looked like the manager passed me by without eye contact, like maybe if we don't look at him we won't have to serve lol. I placed my order and was hoping to get it quickly because I live 15 mins away and it was take out. There was plenty of already cooked food under the lights my whole order was there. There was nothing to wait for yet I saw no one making my order. I looked around the corner to see what looked like the manager and an employee looking at a computer in the back room and laughing. I guess whether the customers food gets cold or they have to wait is of no concern to these people. I got my order went to get self serve pops tried 3 different pops all three had no syrup it was literally just soda water, 3 different ones! The only reason I gave this place three stars is because the food was good. Won't be returning to this location. Other locations like Chilliwack have been good not...
