Finally...a decent restaurant that closes very late in the lower mainland! The Indian cactus club! 🕒👍 The Indian club is a great place to grab Indian food and unwind with some drinks late at night and opened until 3 am. The food here is not bad, although I've had better Indian food that cost less, it's hard to find Indian food for that late night craving let alone any restaurant here in the lower mainland. The portions of the dishes were quite generous and super filling. Our server was also attentive and provided good service. The vibe of the restaurant was also nice and modern with some cool Indian hip hop and r&b club music in the background which got my Indian friend tapping his feet and wanting to dance and get desi at the bar. 🕺🇮🇳 Some of the dishes we ordered: - chicken korma - butter chicken - x3 garlic naan (3 pieces each order) - rumali rotti - basmati rice Cons: Most of the food was great, the only thing I didn't like much was the rumali rotti, it was quite cold and I'm not sure if rumali rotti is supposed to be served cold but it felt like it just came out of the fridge which is a shame since it was their most expensive bread on the menu. Another thing I thought was interesting, not necessarily a con but the chicken dishes are bone-in style which may or may not be something you'd like in a gravy style dish. It's not a huge deal but I thought I'd mention that most of the Indian meat dishes here have bones in them. Overall, this is a pretty nice place for late night food. Most restaurants in the lower mainland close at 10 pm and bars usually stay open until 1 am on Friday, so it's definitely nice seeing a restaurant/bar open until 3 am.

This is my go to place whenever I come to Vancouver to visit my father. The food here is exceptionally good quality! The service used to be slow last year, however they have very much improved since and it's hot hot food, full of flavor, and on timely manner. The one thing I would say we weren't a fan of was the loud music, music in general was fine, just the volume was way too loud to have a conversation. I'm not saying no to the ambience but the volume should be adjusted. My husband found the service was good, but had a pet peeve about the server coming every 5 minutes to ask if we want anything else when we weren't close to done either. It did stop when we asked for the bill. Besides the little things this place is the one place I would always go to for indian when I visit Vancouver or Surrey in general. Give this place a chance. You won't regret!

As someone who's lived in Surrey basically my whole life this is overpriced low quality food. The rotis just soaked in butter. Lots of oil and cream to make the food taste good but the ingredients aren't fresh as they should be. The chicken tikka was lacking in quantity compared to most indian restaurants. Look at how the cucumber looked after 1 day in the fridge. I wouldn't be surprised if the chefs were 22 years old. It has a nice atmosphere and I thought the raita was nice. But it's way over priced. My wife is a pretty amazing judge of food she mentioned it wasn't nice either. Like the mix veg is just so dark and some items look burnt and looks like those frozen mixed vegetable packs from grocery store. Theyre cut the same. None of the ingredients are fresh or nice in the mix veg.

A True Taste of India with Exceptional Service

We had the pleasure of dining at this incredible Indian restaurant recently, and I must say—it was nothing short of extraordinary.

From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that beautifully blended tradition with a modern touch. The aroma of freshly prepared spices, the soft Indian music playing in the background, and the vibrant decor instantly set the tone for what would become a memorable evening.

Now let’s talk about the food—it was simply outstanding. Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. From the perfectly spiced curries to the warm, buttery naan, each bite was a celebration of India’s culinary richness. You can tell the chefs pour their heart into every plate.

But what truly elevated our experience was the impeccable service. Anna, our server, was absolutely phenomenal. Her grace, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made us feel like honored guests rather than just customers. She took the time to explain the dishes, made excellent recommendations, and checked in with us at just the right moments—always with a warm smile.

Rashmeet also stood out with her exceptional hospitality. She was courteous, professional, and so kind throughout our visit. Together, Anna and Rashmeet made our evening feel personalized and special, creating the kind of hospitality that stays with you long after you leave.

This restaurant is not just a place to eat—it’s a full experience. Whether you’re craving the comfort of home-cooked Indian food or introducing someone new to the flavors of India, this is the place to go. We will absolutely be returning soon, and recommending it to all our friends and family.

Thank you to the entire team, especially Anna and Rashmeet, for making our dinner so wonderful. You’ve set a new standard...

SLOW KICHEN !!! BAD MANAGEMENT !!This was my first time visiting this place as i have heard some positive reviews but experience was totally opposite the server Shenaaz was nice on her serious but issue was with there kitchen we ordered appetizer and mains all together and mentioned that all come together and server acknowledged it too but kitchen didn’t. Appetizer came in early mains didn’t and server said they are on the way but even after 20 min or so it was not there. Then finally mains came but only 2 types of bread (we ordered 3). One of person in our group was staring as she specifically needed the other bread which came almost 20-25 min later which means we were already 80% finished with our food on asking to server she said they kitchen is preparing. We asked to see the manager he came in he did apologized but said its 3 day of server I mentioned that it’s not servers fault it’s your kitchen ( PS kitchen was not to busy as there were only 3-4 other tables filled) he said ohh i will talk to kitchen and then said we are only 6 months old in the business. I was shocked when a manager first tried to blame the server then made an excuse that we are new in business. Icing on the thing he offered us free dessert. Pathetic management skill that guy had I would say. We just paid our bill in full (as no discount was even offered). And we...
